desire enters, body, soul and spirit
it is now time to settle the score
while others sing, "Auld Lang Syne" and resolutions galore
I take her delicate, trusting hand
she fears not the Dark Lord
tonight, I shall draw blood from a willing core
hers, an experience soon real
a bite as never before
scarlet will paint her neck, behind the secret door
piercing, sucking, gasping eternal joy
this is what's in store
her alabaster form, left crumpled on the...

Nurturing, loving, caring
Through every day of gestation
From the first ultrasound
Revealing that faint, rapid heartbeat
To the gift of life, clutching
Tiny hands and feet
Always giving, sharing her all
Protection, adoration, direction when needed
Firm foundation shown
Focus on others, never conceited
Capable of unconditional love
We envy and wish to emulate
