Villain
Stricken by sickening limerence
Not a moment of rest ever since
My dreams devoured by your presence
Made so much worse by your innocence
Accidental catastrophe
Hellbent on subsuming me
It’s my own God damned tragedy
I’m lost in a labyrinth of loneliness
Every turn sending me further in
Cursed to yearn for the unobtainable
This realization is indigestible
You’re the beauty and I’m the beast
Only this is no children’s fairy tail
Your splendor garners endless attention
My hunger evading my tries...

Shatter
Something has been gnawing away
Inside of me these days
Hopeless, pathetic, agony
Suppressed them so I thought
Caught in this self made tragedy
Born from a single spark
A glimmer of hope for something more
A glimpse of greed is all it needed
The rot of turmoil deeply seeded
Sprouted into flowers of despair
Then came forth the rain of doubt
Quenching the thirst of my gullible heart
As salt water does to a thirsty sailor
My house of cards collapsed; a failure
I always thought myself a feeble man

Comatose inevitable

The words disappear
True beauty such as yours
Blinds all who look your way

Guide Me
Guided by this feeling
A phantom hand grips mine
A moment of clarity
In my moment of misery
A chance to get by this
A savior shall show me the way
Holding on for dear life
White knuckling
The thought’s terrifying
I cannot let go
Drifting freely floating on
It’s been moments
But it feels forever long
I cannot see your face
But I somehow find
Familiarity in your embrace
Wherever I go I know
With you showing me the way
Whatever troubles may follow
I’ll make it through the day

Lush greenery
Child’s laughter playful summer days
And a refreshing breeze
Tethered together
You and myself
Brought here from afar
A dream born from you
A smile gifted to me
You are my everything
My nights spent thinking of you
My days made better by your presence
A true jewel unlike the rest
My one and only one of a kind
You gleam just as the sun may
And shine as the moon does
Drowning in the happiness you give
And I’m more than willing to dive in
I’m yours now and forever
I’ll always be by your side

Little water drops
Drip from the faucet
Tapping on the metal below
A sound like clockwork
Never off rhythm
My eyes closed
Other senses sensitive
Soft pillow
Entranced by the water drops
Time slows down
Become entwined in a dream
Hypnosis
Brain dance waterfalls
Twin hydrogen shades
Visible flow of oxygen
Silk laced waves collide
The moon smiles down

Brought myself in today
dragging my feet
leaving dirt behind
voices speaking authority
a gentle buzz in the back of my mind
shut it down and lock it out
Picking fun and having a laugh
just make it through today
some couple more odd hours
and I'll be on my way
autopilot cruise on by
toss out a random joke
hope it doesn't land dry
I always wondered why
time goes by faster
when my eye dodges the clock
a penny for a random thought
lunch room no window
chicken thighs tastes a little dry
closer to the end...

Morning Light
Morning light pours into the room
Where once the shadows dwelled
The deepest pits inside my head
Drown in light once again
The darkest thoughts vanish
Tainted memories shatter away
The sun a beacon I long for
To guide me on to another day
A familiar feeling upon my skin
The nostalgic feeling I can’t explain
A happiness warm and overwhelming
I can feel a smile on my face again
I wish that this feeling never ends

Though time takes us all
The kindness you’ve given
Especially in this time we live in
Allowed me the will to move on
Though through your kindness
I’ve learned in loss an emptiness
That may never be filled
Bitter as it may all be
I’ll never come to regret it
You were my greatest gift
And are my most treasured memory
You’ll forever live on within me
Rest well
To your eternity

What face should I wear on this occasion
Just what story should I feign amazement in
Make a day for somebody I don’t know anyway
Weird how I fit in others shoes more than my own
You may just be the best me I’ve yet to know
Give me the floor and I’ll give you a show
These words I imagine dance to throw you in a trance
Believe it real this forced on mask
My identity is your validation in my imagination
I forgot who I was or am supposed to be
Give me reason for a possible brand new me
Just what story should I feign amazement in
