Love and Lust
The love I know is not ignited by touch.
It's not the kiss, the lust or close to such.
Rather it's the smile, the giddiness
the silent gaze, the nervousness.
It's the compromise,
the unseeming sacrifice
the longing thoughts,
the lightning butterflies
Then the fire is unmercilessly enflamed....

UPBEAT INSPIRATIONAL POEM

Chosen Fate
Memories if written stand alone
Without the beauty of their thrones
Or pain from anguishing zones
Just a trailer of the times
A currency for lessons and smiles
Played when met with it's trigger
But never with wistful linger
Not looking at photos living in the past,
Nor leaving out memories to dust,
Out there living with the future cast
Just here in the now, living it right
Looking at the sun in a whole new light!
Because life hasn't promised to stay
And death aint ever going away
Why not...
Without the beauty of their thrones
Or pain from anguishing zones
Just a trailer of the times
A currency for lessons and smiles
Played when met with it's trigger
But never with wistful linger
Not looking at photos living in the past,
Nor leaving out memories to dust,
Out there living with the future cast
Just here in the now, living it right
Looking at the sun in a whole new light!
Because life hasn't promised to stay
And death aint ever going away
Why not...

MISCELLANEOUS POEM

What in the...
Emotions are flickering
And purpose is puzzling
Tomorrow is intriguing
And movement makes me ask
"Is this really happening?"
I wonder if this sounds crazy
Or just truth blurted honestly.
Is life an illusion or a catchable mystery?
Perhaps in death will come clarity
For life has failed to bring her to me
Until then I shall wait patiently
Unless patience flees in a hurry.
And purpose is puzzling

She
She's got bones made of sticks
And man oh how she overthinks
Those two things, I bet are her only kinks
Whatever she's wearing she keeps popping
Which ever path she takes she's leading
All eyes on her and she aint noticing
Her smile consoles the heart
Her words keep in the light
Forget booze
Her humour is the fountain of youth
Her walk is a science mystery, makes you wonder "Who is She?"
Easy pizee if you ask me, SHE'S A WOMAN! Obviously!
And man oh how she overthinks

Superwoman
Greetings dear appraised woman
They say you're so LOVING it's inhuman
Mighty professor of love and life lesson
Tracer of beauty in its early demeanor
Have you really mixed your blood with cement to provide me shelter?
Will you always love me like no other?
Are you ready to give your life than watch me flutter?
Because as time kept counting her repeated number
Guess you felt weary, you grew bitter
But I got attached to your affectionate manner
I entitled you, loving you ever harder
So why break my heart when you could do much better? ...

They Hate Love.
She was brave and patient
Quiet but loud.
She was sunrise and sunset
Caring and affectionate.
She'd hustled and balled
Kept loyal and strong
When he had him and him alone.
She was everything good.
So he tugged her under his arms
Held her, grabbed her waist and showed her, love.
But those who saw this called him whimped out
Guess she wasn't good enough for his crowd.
He felt embarrassed and hid in a shroud
Unveiled later and flogged her to the ground
Buried her never to be found ...

Showing off like extra fuss
Lying ass know extra less
Checking out from right to left
Making sure they catch yo best
A styled hair with messed up head
what good is it when the freezer fades?
See I've met and heard of Richie Rich
But you take the prize for bragging mitch.
Take a break! Your throat will dry.
We've had enough of what you can buy.

Blind names
He noticed me friendly and disbeliefed my shyness.
She saw me quiet and passed it for dullness.
They look at me play and wonder my ripeness,
listen to me speak and witness my intelligence.
They describe an image they'll never see.
They saw a glimpse and thought it was the whole image.
They went on talking about a voice they'll never hear
Naming a person they haven't even met
One said shy
One said different
One said careless
One said care too much
One claimed to understand. ...
