Poet Introduction
Come sail my ocean and we'll drown togetherA delicately dainty quill, doused in the darker depths of my heart
Table Talk
I decided to sit her down at the table to have a talk:
"I know I invited you, but you're no longer welcome here, so leave my house!" I screamed
She lifted her head, her eyes met mine
She wore the biggest grin
Her beauty haunted me even more
"My darling," she spoke in a whisper
"I never leave, you see. You think you don't want me
But deep down, I'm like your sibling... Your closest friend.
I'll help you through every trial and trouble
I'll never leave your side."
I began to cry, because deep down she was right
And I knew at...

Twisted Love
Hearing your heartbeat
Reading your words
Holding your hand
Forgetting what hurts
For once I could smile
And we both agreed
The Future was ours
As long as we bleed
Reading your words
Holding your hand
Forgetting what hurts
For once I could smile
And we both agreed
The Future was ours
As long as we bleed

Fear
Fear is an ocean
Where ships cannot sail
People can't swim
And plants cannot grow
Fear is an ocean
Where the waves are bigger
The current is stronger
And the water is deeper
A raging sea
With no blue skies
Or sunny days
It can control the weather
Fear is an ocean
Where the tide holds you captive
And no matter how far you travel
You never find shore
Where ships cannot sail
People can't swim
And plants cannot grow
Fear is an ocean
Where the waves are bigger
The current is stronger
And the water is deeper
A raging sea
With no blue skies
Or sunny days
It can control the weather
Fear is an ocean
Where the tide holds you captive
And no matter how far you travel
You never find shore

Finding Home
Walking and walking
Not quite tired
The more I am lost
The closer I am
To finding home
Fields of yellow
Prisoner of wind
Shifting my path
Swayed by the flowers
Directing me home
Thirst and hunger
Footprints of blood
Hoarding the baggage
Wolves are following...
Following me home
Traveling onward
Eyes to the sky
My compass my morals
With this I'll arrive
I'll be home
Not quite tired
The more I am lost
The closer I am
To finding home
Fields of yellow
Prisoner of wind
Shifting my path
Swayed by the flowers
Directing me home
Thirst and hunger
Footprints of blood
Hoarding the baggage
Wolves are following...
Following me home
Traveling onward
Eyes to the sky
My compass my morals
With this I'll arrive
I'll be home

Standing Tall
We are to stand tall
And reclaim all we have lost
Too bad I am short
And reclaim all we have lost
Too bad I am short

Beautiful Tragedy
One heartbeat
No heart
A little smile
falling apart
This is a story
You're forced to read
About a life cut short
A beautiful tragedy
Good grades
No hope
Many friends
Still alone
You saw her every week
Laughed at all her jokes
Now she's under everything
Laughing as we speak
One word
Two scars
Dirty mirror
Bathroom stalls
I'm forcing the truth
Like food down your throat
Don't puke it out
It was her antidote
Silent mouth
Screaming mind
Calling...
No heart
A little smile
falling apart
This is a story

Dead Men Have no Graves
Close your eyes, hear the cries
Feel the earth move through the air...
And to your sides, tattered oak lies
Caressing each strand of hair
Dirty hands are digging land
The hole grows ever deep
Your breath is ailing, your screams are failing
With every shoveled heap
No man or beast has ever grasped
The handle of a spade
It seems the man who's shoveling land
Is sleeping in the grave
Dirty hands are digging land
The hole grows ever deep
I call upon the ghosts of old
Wake up from your sleep!...
Feel the earth move through the air...
And to your sides, tattered oak lies
Caressing each strand of hair
Dirty hands are digging land
The hole grows ever deep
Your breath is ailing, your screams are failing
With every shoveled heap
No man or beast has ever grasped
The handle of a spade

The Return
She's back
Like the smell before a storm
You know it's coming
The wind is blowing
She's on my doorstep
She knows where I live
I tried running
I've been hiding for so long
I knew she'd return
I gave her my address
But now she's here
Knocking at my door
Ringing the bell
I don't want to answer
It's too late now
She's coming through the window
Like the smell before a storm
You know it's coming
The wind is blowing
She's on my doorstep
She knows where I live
I tried running
I've been hiding for so long
I knew she'd return
I gave her my address
But now she's here
Knocking at my door
Ringing the bell
I don't want to answer
It's too late now
She's coming through the window

For You Know Who
I remember when you told me
How nothing would really matter
As you dropped me from a tall place
Knowing I would shatter
stared at all the pieces
You promised you'd repair
But now I'm alone and broken
With more things to bare
I remember that voice
The one I learned to trust
Became the voice of my enemy
It shamed me and it cussed
My only lifeline is gone
And I'm the thing that's left
There's nothing else to hold onto
So I'll hold on to myself
I remember when it ended
You were...
How nothing would really matter
As you dropped me from a tall place
Knowing I would shatter
stared at all the pieces
You promised you'd repair
But now I'm alone and broken
With more things to bare
I remember that voice
The one I learned to trust

Forgotten Treassures
A day will come
When the light will break the waters gate
And invade its dark and empty corridors
Illuminating every inch
Reclaiming our lost treasures
Making the broken things bright and beautiful
When the light will break the waters gate
And invade its dark and empty corridors
Illuminating every inch
Reclaiming our lost treasures
Making the broken things bright and beautiful

Stuck in Today
It's torturous to me
When all we do is breathe
Where yesterday becomes like tomorrow
But we're stuck in today
I guess I'll sleep it off
And wait for tomorrow to rescue me
But in our gut we know
Tomorrow will become a memory
There's no flavor
There's no spice
I'm beginning to hate
This flavorless life
But I guess I'll wait and see
Waiting is my specialty
We depend on luck to get our way
And look where we are
We're still stuck in today
When all we do is breathe
Where yesterday becomes like tomorrow
But we're stuck in today
I guess I'll sleep it off
And wait for tomorrow to rescue me
But in our gut we know
Tomorrow will become a memory
There's no flavor
There's no spice
I'm beginning to hate
This flavorless life
But I guess I'll wait and see
Waiting is my specialty
We depend on luck to get our way
And look where we are
We're still stuck in today
