This is the end of us
This is the end of us as we know it
A stifled choke of a good bye
I never thought it would end this way
We can no longer rely
on the steady familiarity
of burnt toast
and freshly poured coffee
Those stale and rigid patterns
keep us suspended in status quo
Sometimes you just need
to change the trajectory
and steer the ship
And honestly
Staying dormant
is like being buried alive
There’s nothing to stop me
from blending into the wallpaper
Sometimes we cocoon ourselves in...

LOVE POEM

Deep immersion into your physical being
The logical trajectory
Is a flying leap
From the end of the bed
With a steadfast aim
I plunge deep
Into the back of your left eye socket
Piercing through your skull
To reach the innermost caverns of your mind
Then carefully and gently,
I rotate my way down
Through your infraorbital rim
My body is the screw
A right of passage
Into your nasal cavity
It’s not very sexy
Star fishing in your snot
Then jammed in, scissor-splits,
between your tonsils
Guess I should catapult...

Psycho texter (With a big imagination)
For the love of god
That was the worst rejection ever
Please don’t let me do that again, NEVER
I really created an epic smashup
All of it was essentially made up
What, with my stupid unsolicited text messages
And the candid confessions
The incessant spamming
And night time obsessions
A trailblazing dogs breakfast
of imagined transgressions
I laid it all bare not thinking of the repercussions
In my mind I’d imagined a bone fide connection, full of possibilities
But both of us have partners, children and...

To rest upon
A bed of glass
I’d scarcely lay my cheek
While blades of shard and thorn
Razor sharp and caustic
Precise in their motive
Tear my flesh
And twist my bone
Entangled
With a restless spirit
Wandering
Craving
Begging
To possess

Ode to Pigs
Pigs are fat and fathomless
Pigs are fancy free
Pigs are faithful to the end
They’d walk the earth for me
Pigs are great adventurers
Pigs are clever friends
Pigs won’t laugh behind your back
Or careless condescend
Pigs are strong and self assured
Pigs don’t often cry
Pigs are honest to the end
They never, never lie
Pigs are pink and passionate
Pigs are smooth as ice
Pigs are boundless happiness
They dance the march of life

There are some things I want to say to you
Just, you know, a few things.

I can’t say any of them
Out loud
To anyone

That should be kept
Out of mind
Out of sight

No one can censor them
