Deep Inside Me
Deep inside me,
There's a longing.
A longing to be free,
A longing to be me,
A longing to be what I am meant to be.
I long to be free from the shackles of society.
I long to be free from the

I long to be free from the bias towards my gender.
I long to be free from the limitations set by society because of my sex.
I long to be free, I long to be just me.
I want to be me that others do not see.

A Grey Morning
When I woke up today, the morning looked grey, it felt grey without the brilliant beams of sunlight that greeted my eyes everyday. The ground was wet from the rain last night. It wasn't a heavy rain, but enough to soak the earth, and bathe the trees after many days without rain. The trees looked fresh, their leaves vibrantly green in the grey morning after their shower. Traces of rainwater still clung to the leaves. The air was cool last night, unlike the previous nights were the air was humid from the heat during the day. The moon was veiled by dark clouds when I look at the sky last night....

The Light Of The Moon
The light of the moon is waning
As the night passes by
Its silv'ry glint is fading
As the days of the month walk by
The nights will soon be dark
When it's time for the moon to go
And leave the earth in darkness
Without its radiant glow
Tonight I see it shining
A gleaming silver light
Hiding behind the shadow
Of the clouds in the sky at night
And when this night is over
With the breaking of the day
The moon will disappear from view
And slowly moves away
As the night passes by

To drench your summer days
I take away the summer heat

On a moonless night
I lay dreaming
