I Am Lost
I am lost
Drowning
In this sea of pain
You left me
Unable to swim
In this deep ocean
Of loneliness
I can't stop these tears
From falling
I am lost in this torrent
Of pain that gripped me in its claw
Was it worth this pain?
Why? Why does my heart so raw?
Why is this heart so vulnerable?
Why can't it learn to be hard and protect itself?
Foolish heart of mine
So pitiful, always left to bleed
When all it wants is just to love.

The Changing Mood Of The Wind
The wind was blowing with all his might
He hissed and howled through out the night
His mood was foul he was full of spite
That made all creatures shrink with fright
He pounded on the roof like a horse's hoof
So vile was his temper so sour was his mood
Jeered at the windowpanes knocked the curtains down
His voice was loud, booming with a fearful sound
Then his fury turned to the silent trees
That were awaken from their blissful sleep
He shook their trunk and broke their twigs
And without pity stripped their leaves
...

A Silhouette Under The Sky
When the moon is gone
And sky is bereft of stars
The night becomes dark
A black velvet veils
The beauty of the night's face
Covering her shape
Night hides in shadows
A silhouette under the sky
Without the moonlight
It's the moon goddess
Who lends beauty to the night
And takes it away
Night borrows her charm
From the lights of moon and stars
To adorn her face
She hides in darkness
On moonless and starless night
Afraid to be seen
And sky is bereft of stars

Like A Desert Sand Dune
My heart was empty
Lifeless-a desert sand dune
Parched, withered, barren
A vast emptiness
Gripped me like sharp claws digging
At my wounded heart
Nothing was in bloom
In the desert of my heart
Just mirage of love
Summer without sun
Dark clouds without falling rain
That was how it felt
Then you came like rain
Pouring on me from nowhere
