Hi I'm BPD,
I am quick to anger and then cry and people think I'm not right.
I am seen as deranged, I try to control it.
Emotions can be so overwhelming and I can't stay quiet when something annoys or upsets me.
I try to learn how to keep calm in certain situations, instead I feel defeated.
I am ashamed.
I am shamed for having a disorder.
Anyone could suffer the same as me.
It's so hard dealing with it day in day out.
I am the monster that will make you unstable

Dangerous ring of Love
When you have to take dangerous measures because its been drummed into you that you are not right in the head, your nasty, your poison you eventually start to believe it the more the words pour out.
When you cry out at something that hurt you, when you cry out for reassurance and help, or even just to be held.

The true goodbye
I sat in the car my hair dripping down my back, the cold breeze from the opened window hitting my face drying my eyes.
My wet towel soaking in to my legs, making me feel cold and shivery,
I wanted a warm tea.
I watch out the window at the trees, the sky and people walking by.
It was time for me to go home.
My heart doesn't feel anything anymore, not even hurt just disappointed and ashamed.

My life
As I open my eyes I hear the faint chittering coming from the other room. I guess I wasn't the first to wake.
Without question my oldest daughter brings me tea in bed (which is rare). Cup half full and maybe a bit too sweet, not like anything to be too sweet for me.
I take a sip, as she asks are you ok mum?
I replied yeah I'm fine.
She told me I was lying.
Which I really was telling a fib.
I drank some more tea as surprisingly it was a beautiful cup of tea.
She sat at the end of the bed and stared at me, I could see her eyes were watery. She told me...

Don't give up just yet
For any woman that may need to hear this, there are loving men out there.
There are men who will sit and listen to you talk about something that bothered you without thinking it's an argument.
There are men out there that will take accountability and apologise. Who can be aware of their behaviour and how it affected you. Men that you can grow with. Men who will make you feel appreciated.
You don't have to go through years of trauma with a person who doesn't know how to communicate and has no emotional intelligence.
YOU are worthy of healthy love. And it is out...

I tried and tried over and over again with you but in reality your not what I needed and I was not what you wanted.
I was a warm embrace for you to pick up and drop when something didn't go your way.
I have accepted this and by god the weight that has lifted allowing me to breathe again.
I am FREE once again.

People pleasing
I try do right by you all the time that I forget I'm also important and deserve time.
You take pretty much everything forgranted.
I was always told growing up that people will always take advantage of kindness, and abuse the fact that you will always say yes because PEOPLE PLEASING is a thing.
But being kind and caring is my thing....
Trying to change the way you act is hard as I've always broke my back to help others.
