Bipolar Personalities
Before the beginning of the end
Was a time where war was the best diplomacy
Thwart your enemies before they can crash you
33 strategies of war
Everyone is your enemy until proven otherwise
Other wise men learnt the strategic value of the night
Knighted warriors and taught them to fight
Invisible like spirits under the clock of the night
When the clock strikes 12, Cinderella,
Take off your shoe and be the lady of the night
Be whatever they want you to be, stroke their different sized egos if need be
And honey when they are weak sting like...

As the shell dropped.. IRan!
The bomb fell,
Whistling from a distance a sad tale,
Raising panic and consequently the death toll,
My commander fell,
Victim of being a patriot the wrong way,
Trumped like a useless bug and never lived to tell the tale.
But I, conscious and driven by my will to live ,
Followed the instruction hidden in plain sight ,
Like a smart deserter and ran.
IRan for clearly I didn't have enough power
To carry the weight of more shells.

Porcelain Fool
Like a porcelain doll I am afraid to fall,
Unless there is a cushion to break my fall,
I can't risk breaking into a million pieces,
Unless I could trade each for a dime.
A penny for my thoughts and a dollar for my time.

I am Cross
Our preachers are proud
They boast of God only when he gives them riches
Its never about the cross
And so I'm cross,
They speak of the cross on easter, ceremonial preachers,
Their flesh is forever weaker
Their deliverance delivers us into hands so sinister
We remain sinners,
They too are lost
And so I am cross,
I am cross because we are at crisis
The cross is not the devil's play ground.
Holy blood was lost
Veils torn down
So everyone could be holy,
Not holier than thou,
And so I am cross

Mama I'm at conflict with self,
A casualty of a war I'm destined to win,
Peace, an idea resident in the crevices of my shattered heart
Love, a dream disguised as a memory
I can only meditate on its thought
Like the old reminisce their days of youth

Perfect Faces
I have a thorough eye for imperfection,
First I always see whats wrong with the picture
Before i can gently stroke the beauty with strokes of colourful literature, in appreciation
Maybe its because i believe so much in the notion of first impressions
Such that i am completely aware that most are rehearsed,
So I dare not be fooled
Not by those one minute glitters of rubbery diamonds
Masquerading as gems..
Daylight robbery presented in fancy circus shows..
Clowns in colourful masks, bright smiles, fine tuned tunes, friendly beasts and cuddly bears. ...

It all started as a joke
But now i am alarmed by the degree of humanity i have lost,
I am lost..
Like burnt toast i have lost my soft feel,
Covered in darkness,
My soul crusted by external flames and pressures i cant begin to fathom..
I need a helping hand
To pull me away from this vortex of peril trying to suck me in,
Swirling with parasites ready to live off my innocence
I am not like them'....
I am me,..
Jokes aside,
I am me with a little less sanity,
An appreciation for profanity,
A taste for...

Red Flags
I am raising red flags each day
But my audience behaves like bulls,
They come charging with self righteous judgement,
Bringing me down like the tower of babel,
So i stand here confused and searching
Searching for a better audience,
From the ground I look up high waiting,
For a sign or a hand strong enough to raise me from the dust
And breathe new life to my depressed soul
I am hurting..
Signs I am sending
Red flags i will be raising ,
They will fly
Until someone hears my cry
And affirm that one day everything will be...

Broken Souls
