I did not grow you
I am an agent of your birthright
You are not my ward
We are siblings
And I suspect you will water me in another cycle
You are of old ancestry
More venerable than speech could convey
A lineage of goddesses
Who choose to afford us breath
Providing us the platform to flower or falter

I do not own you

You are deep and founded
Steeped in the the language of creation

Vayu and Apas
My waters stir and simmer in your wake
I am made vapor by your movement
And evaporated by your warmth
We well
Until I am torrential
Heaving with our will
Playing host to your aeration
You make what would otherwise flow, fly
Such a timeless avian almagam
Freer than flight
And as profound as a vista
You dance transition over my surface
And afford me renewed rhythm
Blessed be, your wings
Who's expanse is the atmosphere
You chamber sweetly in my lungs
And inspire breath
Blessed be, the Air ...

The most beautiful
Time has been good to me
As gentle a force as gravity could muster
But my host
The form i inhabit
Still warm and viscous
Is divorced
The rift was viciously fateful and fair
Then cold, then stiff
With a release of a fetter
I am a half kite
Unacnchored but stifled
The weight she provided was a prudent pressure
One that warmed as much as venerated
One that would ache for an eon had it been arrested from my perception
The descent came quickly
By a telescoped deluge
my feet no longer bore any resemblance to...

Good Morning
Breath startled and sustained me this morning
My ziggurat embraced and entombed me
In a estacically painful cycle
Encircled by my lover and progeny
Animation is an unwavering math
With Inhalation as a karmic illustration
And my elements the illustrator
We continue
But this is not my preferred medium

Mother,Mother
There are fragments of us in the top soil
Traces of us in every basin
The wind threads us together
And dons the planet in a living garmet
Pulsing , thriving
We, the living garb of an epoch
Each sown in sentience
The tailor, the Mother of Mothers
The great contraction within the expanse
She is the womb and the widdler
As much the architect as she is the structure
I witness more of us in her than the flesh we claim
More of us in the Mother of Mothers
Than the names and membranes
That allude to...
