Slow Decay
Torn into slow decay
I’m left to shrivel away
Into the ruin
Into myself
Poison unto the souls of others
Ripping love from warm beating hearts
Pounding out life on the sacrificial stone
Beaten with the club of sacrificial bone
Sanity’s presence is still unknown
As into the festering flames of hateful fire I am thrown
And left to my own devices to devour my own dredging dissatisfaction
So fleeting glimpses of former fuck-ups no longer cloud my vision
And the entirety of my entity can meet its divine destiny
With the wretched dreaded inbred...

A Brief Eclipse of Personal Treasure
No matter what I write for you
The undertow of sentiment is always the same
So enjoy another poem and enjoy your day
You may be in Stratford but you’re with me anyway

Your smile is the culmination of everything charming
Your laugh is the nightly rain after a sun soaked day
But our embrace is the rainbow consoling the storm,
As white light splashes through a lucid prism

Fettered by a Blue Sky
Return, my love,
Return to me
To assure me I am not insane,
I couldn’t let you die in vain.
I loved you so, so
Where did you go?
I plea to God, I’ve lost my mind,
I pray for a reason not to cry,
For you were doing so very well,
Alas, you spoke your last farewell.
I tried to help, I tried so hard,
I conquered fear to heal your scar
Before it took the best of you,
Before it took the rest of you.

Depression is a terrible state.
A quicksand of sadness,
A sinkhole of horror,
A challenge not to end one’s life....
Return to me
To assure me I am not insane,

My City
Walking in the city
I bring with me
A shadow of the end.
Pouring rain and clouds above,
Lightning strikes
And thunder pounds.
Street lights dim,
As I pace ‘round,
Arms lifted up,
A gate to the bowels of hell.
I wait at a bus stop
With no destination,
While wind howls by.
The bus crawls to a stop,
The driver in a light blue shirt
Stained by blood pouring from his neck.
He has been beheaded
I climb the steps his head not in sight,
The passengers all look alike,
None have heads.
...
I bring with me

The Aftermath of Immaculate Love
Debilitated from the loss of love,
paralyzed by empty fear.
Infected by a lonely parasite,
vomiting on the floor.
Severed vital veins.
Blood flowing steadily.
Lacerated jugular.
Gasping for breath.
Jumping off the bar stool,
necks perfect fit in the noose.
Last crack,
final silence.
The ultimate bliss,
all encompassing happiness.
Drip
from the shell.
Drip
from the cadaver.
Blood the liquid love,
escape and kiss the floor,
not wanted anymore,...
paralyzed by empty fear.

Twilight
Ghostly white, drained of pulsing fluid:
hands grasp.
Around the forbidden fruit, it’s vibrancy glossy
in anguish.
Penetrate the amber outer shell and reap nectar from
citrus flesh.
For all that is beautiful and crafted so, doth bid farewell to
unassuming foe.
In perplex duality this rareness show to entertain the likes of an
imaginative soul.
Against black backdrop rays of yellow-orange ambience illuminates a
trudging heart.

Desolate Attention to the Attenuated Sequence of Love
Why don’t I see any light?
Why is the dark no longer so bright?
Without you here it’s cold and dark
Without you here life is simple and stark
I was but an arrant fool
I was but an austere tool
Life was elegant in its simplicity yet complicated in its passions
Life was beautiful while unclad yet still gorgeous in all arid actions
Now my heart is a void
Now my heart is drained
You’re love that surfeiting my life may now sicken and so wither
You’re love that gave access of the emotion that now so makes my life macabre
Thank you for making my heart...

A lot has been said about life and life lost
Live life lost and lose life
Live without ever having lost and you’ll lose everything you’ve lived
T’wasn’t real the loss you never lost
You lost your mind
You lost your thoughts
You lost what’s dear
Your reality rots
Endless maze, manic and mayhem
Maybe make a panic to calm the greyhound
Travel mug of wishes never taught to the known how

Pessimism bids good morrow
I’m in the middle of the loneliest crowd, they cry and sing and speak out loud .I know where they’re going, their destinations are all the same, heading for the one place that has no name. Nowhere, a dessert with a sleepless gate, an entrance to an ending of a pointless game, no winners, no losers we tie all the same. The path we take is the only thing that fluctuates, some curve and meander and some just run straight. The way the crow flies is the easiest way, you can end this game as quickly as you came. My Dear
The most ornate of them all
Tempered steel, razorblade edges
Pinprick point,
Detailing of a master craftsman on the horizontal hilt
Twisted steel handle with 20 carrot gold inlay
Diamond studded bottom extending into
A skull crusher carved to a rose
The most innocent heart of them all
Left, right ventricle flow
Pulse pulse, pulse pulse.
Carry life through lively veins
Slow for nothing
My dear, of sharpened steel
Hold her near
Keep her in the nicest crystal case
Held by mahogany wood

Kitchen Storm
Cellophane hearts and tin foil flowers
Dance on the sea in the midnight hours
Into the future wave with powers
Dancing partners not real lovers
Image of the night
Dream without a trace
Image of a trace
Night without a dream
Orange explosions
Tear the sky
Rain on rain on
Through the nigh
Contaminate sweet waters grace
Orange paints an orange place
Coat the cellophane hearts so vividly
Give them color, heal transparency
Red explosions

Poetic Amelioration
And now is your time of climactic success
Now wither and die from memory repressed.
And let us not be without desire
Of the beautiful simplicity you have now acquired,
In your misery doom gloom and regret,
Of morbid thoughts you’ve not lost yet,
Pierce the shell of your own humanity,
With tools made from earth that help insanity,
Preposterous thoughts disregard normality,
That brings us not to an altered reality.
Pain and suffering set not far from sexuality,
Romantic oppression doth create this duality.
Speaking in rhymes and...
