LOVE POEM

Sesi
She’s got me up all night
Can’t feel my heart beating alright
Till my eyes meet the light
Her pretty smile shines brighter than a thousand sons
A connection made one way like how water runs
Oh does she comprehend her own beauty?
6 am and my mind wanders
Like a bottle with a note lost in the sea
Though a crack forms and thy bottle caves in
Drowning in sorrow to the ocean floor
The darkness overtakes thy light; my eyes pour
She doesn’t know the pain she’s brought to me
Or maybe I have taken upon myself
I cry myself to sleep

Time’s Gone Bye
Her brown skin is smooth as silk
Or so I’ve been told
Oh, how the days grow old
My plans with her have been bilked
Moreover my thoughts just fold
She’s gone, I’m sold
I wish I talked to her more
I wish we made a true connection
I’m obsessed with her complexion
Years I have seen her; only four
So scared of rejection
Why would I win this election?
Though this is not a vote I’m sure
God, point me in the right direction
I need to move past this section of life
If she was wife would depression cure?
Who knows-if only...
Or so I’ve been told
