INSPIRED BY NORTHERN1'S "POET"
The poet shows the man;
Let him write what he can,
Leave him to share his thought
Of what his eye has caught,
How he hears what one says,
In his poetic ways,
How he constructs the scene
From what's thought or was seen
Let him write what he can,
Leave him to share his thought
Of what his eye has caught,
How he hears what one says,
In his poetic ways,
How he constructs the scene
From what's thought or was seen

SEDUCTIVE HEAD
When sex rears its seductive head,
We end up, naked, in our bed;
That 'sex', by which we're swept away
When we're together in the hay,
When tides of passion take us to
The land of Only Me And You
(Also known as 'Happy Valley')
Where we dilly and we dally.
While the world goes careering on,
We have our special one-on-one,
Cementing our relationship
In up-and-down, hip within hip;
Our mystic sweet communion
Of bodies and souls, unison.

SHOWER SHAKER
Inspired by Poetic Seduction's misty looking avatar.
When I got back a later hour
She was already in the shower,
Dancing away to the radio,
Embodying a get-up-and-go
And I could not help but stare
As she shook her head's long wild hair,
And then her booty, left to the right,
And back and forth to my eyes' delight.
Rubbing her head with arms akimbo;
Clever dancer she was, no bimbo.
Then she paused against the sliding glass
Suggestively rubbed it with her ass.
Imagining it rubbed against me
Got my manhood upright like a tree.

THE ULTIMATE GIVING
The giving of one to the other
Between Beloved and the Lover
Is symbolised, some have wrote of,
In physical act of making love.
Man shares with woman what he has got
Those things of his body she has not;
In return she lets him touch and see
What are exclusive to her body.
Parts that were designed by God to meet
Halfway between the head and the feet,
Where, in doing the lovemaking deed,
The fertile man plants in her his seed
To produce the child that she will bear
Him, in whose upbringing he should share.

IN EACH OTHER'S READING LISTS
To be found in your Reading List -
As good as being hugged and kissed.
It shows that I have won your heart
In love for my poetic part.
I'm sure you'll want to look up me
No just once but more frequently,
To make you smile on a dull day
And inspire you along the way.
If a poem of YOURS takes me
With you by its own quality
Or/and a picture that brightly
Gets mind and heart thinking sprightly,
Be sure that it may be snapped up
In my collection like a cup.
It may sow seeds of some new verse
I may post up, for better,...

RHYMING EASTER GREETING
Happy Easter, one and all!
Join in the "He is risen!" call.
Out of the tomb He's standing tall;
The grave could be no prison wall.
The stone-roll angel did appal
The guarding soldiers. One and all
Did in a dead faint simply fall.
They lay loose as a crumbled wall.*
The babe laid in the manger stall
Is now the risen Lord of All.
We may shun or follow His call;
"You who follow shall not fall."
* "...the angel of the Lord came down from heaven, and going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His...

BEAUTY ON PARADE
Dedicated to Lady Penninah Ngangah (now aka Sanaa), whose profile pic inspired this:
She stands as if on a parade ground - an Amazonian beauty on parade.
She seems to have been made by the Master Designer's hand from the same chocolate clay that made the bricks which, herringbone pattern, surface the ground.
Her skin is polished off that the sun reflects on her bare sholders and legs.
She must be a prince's daughter, so beautiful in her sandalled feet from which her graceful legs rise.
Her breasts, belly and thighs are modestly contained within the sea...

Where mulattoes come from?
Originally written after watching tv documentary about mixed race relationships and effects in producing coloured populations in a number of contexts. No offence intended.
Up-and-down,
Black-on-white,
Produce brown
Children...right?
White-on-black,
Up-and-down:
Same odds stack -
Children brown!
Within wedlock,
or without,
Results are same,
do not doubt!

ANTHEM FOR A PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION CAMPAIGN (SATIRICAL)
I first wrote this in 1988 during the then US Presidential election campaign between Bush Senior and Dukakis to succeed Reagan, a season which coincided with the more successful launch of the Space Shuttle. Wonder if times have really changed that much? Singable to tune of "The Star Spangled Banner" (no offence intended about the US national anthem).
Politicians are strange,
They do not really change;
Of lies they tell much, of the truth but a fraction,
Make compassionate words,
Patriotical lauds,
And promises not always put into action.
