Summer fling
It wasn't supposed to happen this way
We didn't know each other prior to summer;
I wasn't supposed to fall so deep
and now I see you even in my slumber.
You were there in every party I went to,
Summer had arrived and everyone was there,
I looked at you from day one
did you find me attractive at all?
Come join me to another party, one night you said,
out of the blue like a shooting star in the middle of the night
It will be more fun than this and won't leave your sight,
you promised as your fingers interlocked with mine.

UPBEAT INSPIRATIONAL POEM

Welcome home
The sky is bright blue
and the sun shines bright over my head.
The desert land expands past the horizon
And becomes one with the edge of today.
We might have not had the chance
to say goodbye my dear friend,
but one day we will see each other again,
And the roses that we planted
will have bloomed into beautiful bouquets.
This is the time we must embrace
To make it our very own
The universe is on our side
And even the desert blesses us with a smile.
Looking down from this small window I see
Something you almost never would've guessed...

Society is isolating of from humanity and making us lazy!
I believe technology makes our society lazy by keeping us isolated from humanity. Technology has caused growing children to refuse social skills; as a psychological study shows that for the past decade, children have been increasingly less inclined to play outside as they have become accustomed to do everything through technology from playing video games to interacting with other people through social media. the end of it all
Across the dinner table you stand
With your arms crossed against your chest
You tell me you've had enough
That you will not take another stab.
Everything around us goes flying away
The table, the chairs, all the silverware,
Nothing's left behind or underneath,
And all you are able to say is that nothing's fair.
I tried to warn you my dear
That this was not meant to be from the beginning,
But you cared not to listen
So now we're dying alone, in this dark room.

Just like everybody else.

But that should not be confused
With pushing someone away
Just because you're scared of being used.

Is this a true journal? Or is it all in my mind? I can’t seem to be able to grasp what is true and what is not anymore; my mind has played so many tricks on me that I feel stupid to try to fight against it now. I sit here in this desk, clicking the keys making up words that turn into sentences and paragraphs; never knowing if it’s what I truly want to say.
Is this all I have to offer? It appears to be so, for this is what I find myself doing a little too often, taking away the time to actually do what I’m supposed to in this place. But then again, wasn’t it all just a dream of...

Relapse
You call me babe and I melt
Thinking there's something more;
You call me love and I fly
Thinking this illusion is real.
That I can hope again,
For anything to mean something,
I want this to mean something;
Your something's my everything.
How stupid am I?
I thought I was finally moving forward
And moving on from this love.
But a single drunken move of yours
Tore all my work to the ground,
Opening these deep deep scars
And bleeding my heart out slowly.
Bringing me once again this pain
That follows me everywhere...
Thinking there's something more;

Conspiracy thoughts
Can I just quit it all?
Leave behind everything
And just go back
To where I once was.
I don’t know if I am
As strong as everyone else sees me;
I don’t know if I can
Endure this on my own anymore.
There’s nowhere to go back to,
No one that will be waiting
To welcome me home.
Home’s where your heart is at,
But what if your heart is nowhere to be found
What if it’s all just another one of life’s games?
To control our minds and souls
To never let go of the lies we hold
To keep us going, to keep us fighting.
