Lash
Lash
Lash time I saw my face
Neither ribbon nor lace
The leather burns
Can make you yearn
Lost on the seventh sea
Flog to thick to see
Try but cannot escape
All for goodness sake
I rest in this state
Half asleep,half awake
Want to go both ways
Torn between night and day
So I will just stay in place
As time lashes my face

Fault Of The Dead
Fault Of The Dead
What else can there be said
It is all the fault of the dead
They haunt me awake or asleep
What is it these dead memories seek?
I will be thinking of nothing at all
When a memory of you I will recall
I try to get away from the dead
They are buried to deep in my head
Like shadows dancing on a cold wall
Right through their endless pain I fall
No matter how much pain I have bled
It is all the fault of the dead
What else can there be said
It is all the fault of the dead

A Bed Of Flowers
A Bed Of Flowers
If I where to lay with her it'd feel like a bed of flowers
I know I could hold onto her for hours and hours
Her love would smell to me like roses in a bouquet
Just her smile makes me want to never go away
It is like a fresh sunflower on a day of rain
My night lights up with the mention of her name
Her love is like a snapdragon deceptive and gracious
Her heart is wrapped tight in barbwire and laces
I know that love could still bloom in it like a flower

Making Love In My Mind
Making Love In My Mind
I want to rub my fingers lightly up and down her spine
Just the thought of her brings warm thoughts in my mind
I picture her standing slightly still in front of me
As her long hair flows over her shoulders liberally
Her black boots ride up her legs above her knees
She knows with one look how to make me please
I squint to look deep inside her enchanting eyes
I see deep inside her heart where her love resides
I would like to take my tounge and lick her head to toe

Enclosure
Enclosure
My depression has become a self-contained enclosure
It is something from which I cannot break free
My feelings come over me in swelling waves
I am like a fish caught in an underwater sea
My dark room is my only sanctuary left
I retreat to it nightly for my protection
If a broken heart is a fevered disease
Then you are my incurable infection
I sink within myself as my only companion
No one else wants to be by my side
I always hurt myself with stupidity
...

Self Inflicted
Self Inflicted
All my wounds are self inflicted
I carved them out myself
The blame cannot be shifted
I am the only one who is left
All my pain is only all mine
I broke my own heart to pieces
It has come to me over time
With tears falling that never ceases
My loneliness is self imposed
Guess I was born to be that way
My feelings will always be closed
In my gloom I will always stay
My wounds are self inflicted
The scars I made myself

My Last Parade
Take me to my last parade
So I can wear my masquerade
So everyone can see who I am not
That my heart is full of naught
Clowns will laugh at me as they pass
Inviting me to join their cast
My tears of pain I will cover with paint
I will use it as my feint
No one will ever see inside
The person I was has died
All from the lack of love from you

Ode To An Unknowing Love
She slides through my night like a dream
She thinks she goes unheard and unseen
I see her though without and deep within
Underneath her smooth as velvet skin
I see her through her self built walls

Dots
Flashing dots of dried pain
Cutting slices until I am all drained
In the end it never does seem to end
Bombarded Bi thoughts that I can't defend

Digging A Hole
Digging A Hole
I want to dig a hole bury myself in
Done all that I can just cannot win
Just want to sle-e-e-ep forevermore
Things just get worse and worse than before
I wish for happiness but it never comes around
Want to be buried six feet underground
Manic depression eating me away bit by piece
My lack of love just keeps on the increase
I am going to dig me a deep deep hole
To try and find me a better soul
When I have reached my finality
No one will be lost but...

You sure know how to crush a man's dreams
Make him feel like he is a lot less than he seems
Pull the rug right out from under his feet

Rolling
Rolling thunder echoes across the sky
Dark clouds over my head flying high
Rain falling hard down upon my skin
A dampness blowing in the cold wind
Umbrella broken from trying to break free
