Passing on a Kindness
Like a timid little bird,
So afraid of being awkward,
I asked you a simple question,
In the Direct Message section.
Later, I came up with a solution,
Changed my mind, and recanted my question,
To which you were fine with, and responded fairly quickly to,
Even with your busy life, such virtue.
Later, I asked another question,
That in your next interaction,
To pass on, as you're his friend,
A kindness I wished that you would, from me, extend.
You responded not long after,
So far, I've been your...

The Cruel Princess
There she swings, an empty hulk, not a soul below now,
Number seven starboard mess misses Jack and Joe now."
Echoed from the ghosts on the sea floor,
Walking through the wreckage of a ship now, nevermore.
Once the mightiest of sea vessels,
And partook in the mightiest of sea battles,
But now overrun with barnacles, seaweed, and kelp,
And plundered by merfolk, a ship beyond help.
Amongst the rotting wood, half buried in the sand,
Glimmers a doubloon, from a treasure once grand,
Caught by a rare ray of sunlight, ...

Hibernating
The smile you used to know, is gone for a while,
During all this relentless toil,
Though I feel dead inside,
Deep within, the spark, I know, still resides,
Although it hides,
For it is tired, and weak,
And waiting for the right time to speak.
Day in and day out,
My shell grows weaker, gets knocked about,
My eyes have gone lifeless and dark,
The faint glow of the spark,
Of my soul, can still be seen,
Only if one does tediously glean,
And looks long, and deep,
Studying, searching, my eyes that do weep. ...

Atlantis
In the womb of the world,
Of water and stone this world,
Where every step on flat ground,
Is in the water, all around.
Dark, and comforting, this world,
That before us, lies unfurled.
The world called...Atlantis.
Where spoken is the mother tounge that began it all,
Before the rise and fall,
Of the civilizations,
And their fortifications.
Crops grow with no real sky,
But a shield, all around, up high.
In the world called Atlantis.
The only lights ever seen, or needed,

Dyspnea
Drowning in a sea of dryness,
Yearning for that next breath,
Sinking, sinking, into the dark blackness,
Pursy, a niente of pacifist and scortched earth.
Necrosis by the megadeath,
Elegiac, speechless, cries,
Air hunger, overpowereth.
Yearning for that next breath,
Sinking, sinking, into the dark blackness,
Pursy, a niente of pacifist and scortched earth.

Bear Baiting
First Saw
your worthlessness,
Get away
from us.
Ire, bubbling
beneath surface.
Tried to
halt.
Bear poked,
your fault,
You're gonna
get mauled.

Spiritual Experiences
Heretofore, I wished for a spiritual experience like in the talkies,
I had them but nary did I notice.
Not meet, or realistic, I guess,
Natheless,
I wanted an epiphany, and/or physical, visual, experience,
But I have heretofore learned, every painful experience,
Is forsooth, my spiritual experience.
The gods, providing obstacles,
As miracles,
To teach me what I need to learn.

Loneliness
What is loneliness?
"Noun
1. A feeling of depression resulting from being alone or from having no companions.
2. The condition or state of being alone or having no companions.
3. The state of being unfrequented or devoid of human activity (of a place or time).
4. (obsolete) A desire to be alone; disposition to solitude."
Says the WordHippo website,
That is what I feel inside,
When I feel loneliness,
But for some, it seems much more of a tangled mess.
Where in that definition does it...

A Battle of Nature
I threw the book into the flames to watch it burn,
Full of scorn.
The pages did curl,
Before burning, the book made me want to hurl.
I had no other option.
I prodded it with the iron,
To make sure it was consumed,
By the flames, it was illumed.
The fire grew, and an ember hit the carpet, and it began to consume,
I jumped up in fright,
This is not right,
The flame bacame a fire whirl!
Within the flames, I was sure I saw the silhouette of a girl.
I ran to the stairs...
We don't have stairs... ...
Full of scorn.

Her
He had an epiphany one night,
Of something he might
Do to her who wronged him,
But not on a whim,
If he is to do it, it must be planned out,
Well thought out,
He made sure to go through all the semantics,
Making sure to get just right all the mechanics.
Every night, just before sleep,
The nocturnal nightmare vine, would creep
Toward his mind,
Its black rose, blooming within his mind,
Thoughts of dark delight, and sin,
Were created and fostered within.
Its scent so fresh,
Like that of rotton...
Of something he might
Do to her who wronged him,
But not on a whim,

What I Wish Most of All
What I wish most of all,
Is to curl up into a ball,
In your lap,
And for you to wrap
Your arms around me,
And hold me,
As I cry,
An endless supply,
Of tears,
Of releasing my fears,
Of releasing my grief,
And my relief,
And my joy at having again found you,
And being able to be with you.
My face buried into your shirt,
My tears soaking and staining your shirt.
You would smile a sweet, sad, sympathetic smile at me,
That through crying and a buried face, I would not see,
Then kiss the top...
Is to curl up into a ball,
In your lap,
And for you to wrap
Your arms around me,
And hold me,
As I cry,
An endless supply,
Of tears,
Of releasing my fears,
Of releasing my grief,
And my relief,
And my joy at having again found you,
And being able to be with you.
My face buried into your shirt,
My tears soaking and staining your shirt.
You would smile a sweet, sad, sympathetic smile at me,
That through crying and a buried face, I would not see,
Then kiss the top...

I Miss You (Or Are You Thinking Of Me Too?)
Every day,
I think about you all day,
And when I do, it feels like I am near you,
And every night I cry, knowing it's not true,
That really, I'm so far away from you.
I feel like I have known you my entire life,
But I am filled with strife,
And every night I cry, knowing it's not true,
I have only known of you,
For three years, and known you,
(However little) for one year,
And it makes me shed a tear.
Please don't think you're less than miraculous,
Your smile's contagious,
Through your eyes, you...
