POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
if one day you find a hand jutting out from the grave, holding a stick and tryin' to write something on the ground, that could be me!
Free Souls
Dark room,
Borrowed time,
Soft music,
Passionate crime,
Broken promises,
Untold secrets,
Forbidden love,
Untamed hearts,
Vague shadows,
Loud whispers,
Gyrating bodies-
Hiding lovers.
Ignored sin;
Free minds...
Two souls
Intertwined!
Borrowed time,
Soft music,
Passionate crime,
Broken promises,
Untold secrets,
Forbidden love,
Untamed hearts,
Vague shadows,
Loud whispers,
Gyrating bodies-
Hiding lovers.
Ignored sin;
Free minds...
Two souls
Intertwined!

Contagion
He needed some
So he went there.
He drank,
She sat.
They talked
And agreed...
He locked the door;
She put off the lights
He seized her
Actively…
She surrendered
Passively…
Their bodies intertwined
To share heaven on earth.
He smiled as
He wore off the heat.
She sighed as
She passed the malady.
So he went there.
He drank,
She sat.
They talked
And agreed...
He locked the door;
She put off the lights
He seized her
Actively…
She surrendered
Passively…
Their bodies intertwined
To share heaven on earth.
He smiled as
He wore off the heat.
She sighed as
She passed the malady.

The Stars in the Eyes of a Child
It was like any other ordinary night
With the sky extra-ordinarily bright,
A poor boy was amazed by the sight
Of those twinkling groups of light...
At the back of his cluttered young mind:
“What are those lights to all mankind?”
Tried hard but he couldn’t possibly find
What really was the reason behind...
And as he lay there on a narrow bed
With his family touching head to head,
His body he couldn’t possibly spread
Though so slim, obviously not well fed.
Through their shattered roof he gazed
At the stars flashing at his tired...
With the sky extra-ordinarily bright,
A poor boy was amazed by the sight
Of those twinkling groups of light...
At the back of his cluttered young mind:
“What are those lights to all mankind?”
Tried hard but he couldn’t possibly find
What really was the reason behind...
And as he lay there on a narrow bed
With his family touching head to head,
His body he couldn’t possibly spread
Though so slim, obviously not well fed.
Through their shattered roof he gazed
At the stars flashing at his tired...
