I Wish You Were Here
I wish you were here
so I could ride the rings of Saturn without being afraid
of falling off because if I did, you would fall with me
and we would fly through the galaxy past the stars, past the planets,
and mostly through empty black, except it wouldn’t be empty
because it would be filled with you and it would be filled with me because together
we are filling. But apart we are the opposite of filling, apart we are emptying,
and I am emptying, my soul is ridding itself of you
and in turn ridding itself of me because I...
