LOVE POEM

Frostbite
She's bitingly cold,
Her story's age-old,
She's got my heart,
In a vice-like hold.
She's icy and true,
Enticing too,
But she won't have me,
She'd rather have you.
She's like a blanket,
Of soft white snow,
Endlessly chilling
Me to the bone.
She's like the wind on
A harsh winter's day,
Leaving me breathless,
With nothing to say.
Her thoughts, like snowflakes,
Each so unique,
Like they were sent from
Olympus's peak.
She is the reason
That I still shiver, ...

It's cool that you've got money,
Stacking up in piles;
But man, I find it funny
That you can't ever smile.
You think you have the answers,
And you think this is a joke;
I may stretch my mind a lot,
But you're the one that's broke.
I know you got opinions;
And yelling is your habit,
But dammit, when I ask it,
have right at it, start your yappin'.
Til then I ask a favor,
It's really gotta happen,
Shut the fuck up, fix yourself,
In every form and fashion.

Lesson Love
I'm not cut out for lesson love,
I fear I never learn enough;
And as far as my mind can see,
Without your love, I'm obsessing.
I care for you, that much is true,
I've just been waiting for a cue.
I never blinked, you never winked,
How we unsynced was so succinct..
I fall apart at the day's start,
Knowing I never touched your heart;
But as the day starts growing dark,
I see you as my series-arc.
I fear that you're my cornerstone,
And without you, I'll be alone-
But even when we were together,
Perhaps...

This Mask of You
This fashion cue,
This mask of you,
It haunts my very being.
I'm obsolete,
I'm on my knees,
I feel I'm stuck in greiving.
You built me up,
You called my bluffs,
You helped me be myself;
So how could I
Conjure the lie,
That I love someone else;
Or find the time
To even try
To give someone that chance;
When I still find
That your face lies
In every stolen glance?

A Muse Me
You've always been there,
Now you're not;
Somehow gone,
But all I've got.
I'm always so scared,
I fear lots,
Solitude,
And my own thoughts.
When you said you cared,
Was it true?
Or was it just
the lust in you?
Why, after eight years,
Grow silent;

guidance?

There's someone out there-
With a face like yours
And a brain like yours,
Living without care,
And they don't complain
And they don't get bored.
They're someone who cares
About their face
And about their chores.
Somehow life feels fair,

Worth Your Weight
You walk upon all the bridges you've burned,
You never settled for lessons well
learned,
And soon the time will chime in with what it's heard,
And then you'll find, guilt's a feeling that's earned.
Fingers linger cuts after each page turned,
Eyes wrestle pages over lessons yearned,
But still your joy can never be returned,
What emotions has this commotion stirred?

We Are The World
Whenever we feel we need change,
Even if it feels too strange,
All we have to do is try,
Regardless of slow-passing time.
Endless days will come and go,
Tens of thousands will unfold.
Hearts will grow, suns will explode,
Every piece, falling like snow.
We cannot pretend they won't,
Or sanity will be let go.
Really think about your life,
Learn how to take pain in stride,
Dream of ways to improve minds.
Even if it feels too strange,
All we have to do is try,

Advice is mindless,
Lies are timeless,
Open eyes are

Heart's a bank heist,
Mind's blank shrine,
Mouth a horn,
And T.V.'s for eyes.
Masked with plastic,
Rules: elastic,
Isn't it all so
Fantastic?
Shadows foreign,
Mirrors chosen,
Soul, a bleeding book-
Ink pouring.
Feelings first,
Fear for dessert.
Fight the thirst
For things that hurt.
Actions small
Can happen tall,
One can make them
Fear them all.
