I'm not a poet but I write poetry. Make sense? I just want to share my thoughts and experiences with people so maybe someone else won't feel alone in their struggles like I used to. Leaving the bio cuz I wrote it when I was 16. Oh the cringe. Love it XD
LOVE POEM

Despair
I can't feel my heart but I know that it's there.
Sitting on the cold, cutting edge of despair.
I struggle with words, my arms grasping at air.
Reaching for someone who just isn't there.
I can't feel my heart, it's left me alone, standing in the ruins of a sad broken home.
There's no one to turn to, no where to hide,
from the judgemental voices that I let inside.
A heart is so simple, but I was a fool.
And I let it go like I had nothing to lose.
And now I just sit here.
With a cold empty shell, pounding the beat of my own private hell.

Voices
In the darkness I feel like I'm falling
I cry for help, desperately calling
To those in my head, to save me from fear
and keep safe from harm the few I hold dear.
And they answer with laughter
a slow building rumble; Increasing in volume
till my will starts to crumble.
They laugh at my weakness, and hold me to blame
for the pain in our mind that coats all in its rain.
They answer with hate, for the things that I've done
and torment me daily with things yet to come.
They call me a coward and I struggle to see,
why these cruel voices...

Fire and Ice
Some say love is fire,
Some that love is Ice
But burned by fire or by ice
Love is worth the price.
Love like fire; uncontrolable and fierce
Shines bright like stars among the sky.
But cursed by fate, it dwindles.
And slowly fades away.
Love like Ice is bitter.
Never giving reason for the pain.
It steals your heart, and pulls you in,
Till you can never get away.
Love is fire and love is ice,
And both can lead to pain.
But through the pain; though long and hard
A revelation uncommonly pure
Burning in fire or in ice...
Some that love is Ice

Broken Strings
A broken heart left dangling on broken strings
Floating through the darkness, remembering better things.
A warm caress, a loving glance, a softly whispered word.
A broken heart on broken strings searching for the light
Floating through the darkness, slowly losing the will to fight

The pain still grows
The red blood flows
In the shadow of innocence lost
All is lost, nothing gained

You Had To Say You Loved Me
You had to say you loved me.
Well how can it be true?
You had to say you loved me.
And made me fall for you.
But now the mist is leaving.
I see you crystal clear.
You didn't truly love me.
You said it out of fear.
For if you really loved me.
You wouldn't run and hide.
But love amounts to nothing.
When placed against your pride.
So now I'm leaving you forever.

Misery Lives In Me
Misery lives in me.
It claws at my lungs as I try to breath.
It closes my throat as I struggle to scream.
It blinds my eyes to the truth all can see.
That love can be found, but never by me.
The tears shed in anger, the tears shed in fear.
The tears shed for the loss of one once held dear.
It tears at my heart to bloodied to beat.
It closes me off from the good in all that I meet.
Shut out from the light, no will left to fight.
I look in the mirror, into my eyes.
And feel pity for the man who everyday dies.
