DARK POEM

Buried Face Down
A burning oddity which i can't control
Has destined me to a shameful end
Buried face down in this Earthen hole
Foreordained that my soul will not ascend
Obsessed with slaying the vulnerable
The vestal child asleep in their bed
I find their presence insufferable
A panoptic pain pierces inside my head
An eternal indignity for my compulsion
Trapped betwixt Heaven and Hell
The villagers spit on me with revulsion
Gratified in the emptiness i must dwell

Verisimilitude
Scripture an undeniable truth
Holy words burned into the minds of youth
Temples to give the Gods verity
Forcing feeding the obtuse a life of austerity
Murder and charity rear the same face
Lies in the truth to avoid disgrace
Innocence lost by the executioner's hand
Death is justified at the deity's command
All for your sake,your path to whatever God
The words are unfeigned it is man that is flawed
