LOVE POEM

Look the other way
Its as if something plummets in my gut
Who wants to be feeling
these feelings now,
in the dead of night.
Where eyesight is black and introspective
Locked in a head filled with recollection
She must let me outlive this
She must turn her back on me
Have babies ,live happily
And let me brake myself away from being "Hers"
I'm done with everything
Fuck this tangled string,she kept reeling me in on.
Fuck that sunlight on her skin,that made me idolise her.
I'm depleted
Devoid of what is needed
I only have...
Who wants to be feeling
these feelings now,
in the dead of night.

A Few months at home
Leaves are turned over,
although they still look the same.
Questions are ignored,
In a climate that's reaching boiling point.
Blame wanders around
with a little bounce in her step
And anger is always upset.
Raking cut grass,
and hating himself.
The toxicity levels are way 2 high.
I did the math
And nothing adds up
Either I didn't carry the one over
Or the fingers I counted on wasn't enough.
Or I was blindsided,
by what's hidden in plain sight.
Let's just equate everything to X
The given...
although they still look the same.
Questions are ignored,

Hand in Hand
Her touch
Is my exhale
The air is cleared of dark hangers on
That work their elevated angles
like snipers
Waiting to shoot me down.
Nothing bothers me,
when she's around.
I escape
Slightly grazed
She razes me from the dead
With the magic of her ways
Its such a simple thing
But the magnitude of ills it covers
Is the breath, I've longed to take in
They hate me
In envy of your love
Even slurred words,resent me
How dramatic our attraction appears
To a world obsessed with majority rules ...

Walks between two worlds
Twospirited
A call to a more dignified self
Where every aspect is celebrated
Where every diffrence doesn't condemn you to hell
Once apon a time
My kind was a guiding light
A conduet
A means of a go between worlds
A link needed to complete the cycle between heaven and earth
Healers who's reach,knew no bounds
A mouthpiece of an ancient legacy
Who's words where formed in the,Bote,nadleeh,niizh manidoowag,ihaman,lila,witkowin,winkte,ayahkwew
And others jst like it
In the distortion of our history
And the names that have been...

Candy
Its all a lie
Wink
Nudge
laughing eyes.
Crossed legs
Are uncrossed again
Hands stroke thighs
Flip hair to the side
Than sigh
Slowly letting air out
Though cherry coated lipstic
Its oh so hard to keep a straight eye
With millions of little messages
Coming at you full blast
Eye candy
So Fine and dandy
But rots the tooth
And brings an ache
That only stops when its removed.
Hmmmm
She says
Bends down to stroke her calf
With just enough cleavage on show
To sucsessfully cast her...

What I wouldn't give
To lay myself down
In arms that understand
That are devinely led by God
To know love.
Beauty fades
As woman age
But true love,makes beauty stay
My eyes have tried to dig to the bottom,
of what they can't see.
Of what the Spirit has given depth to
That hasn't been yet revealed to me.
Love is giving of yourself selflessly
Love is a Jesus like sacrifice.
Of humiliations,torture
Pain endured,bodily needs denied
The giving of your life.
Love is transending self.

Shelter from Storms
There is nothing to num this sensitivity
Not a woman's smile
Or her palm on your cheek
Or pictures sent to ease the distance
Or word's sent that love me less.
That make me realise what love isnt
There is nothing to num feeling
As everyone demands more than I can give
No Jack Daniels
Or a crowed of faces who havnt seen u in ages
Or a woman letting her hair down
In a candle lit room
Where only your eyes are watching
There is no way around pain.
There is no point in comfort
Let daggers draw blood ...

How long has she been gone
Today I realised,its the end of me
A death to me
Mournful
Head hung low
Sing hymns to sooth the tears
Years of fears
Accumilate
To her death in me
"Smoke gets in your eyes"
In remembrance of her smile
I'd drink bottomlessly
Please oneday come back to me
Save the best for last

Ill be searching for you
In the midst of strangers
In a crowed full of impending danger
My eye will be fixed on the trail of what waits
Of the culmination of all these events
On sequinces that confirm your presence
I'll be unphased,
Looking to focus on you
As if every moment has brought me to this point in time.
I know I'm gaining ground
I feel you closer than before
Your love is the victory
I've been fighting for.
Reveal yourself.

Parting Gifts
All those Other girls
Walking round in a fatherless world
Swaying in all the ways
Those before them have
To only later realise,
The trail leads to a trap
I should have been a motherless child
A point blank shot.
Always hits the mark.
Poke ure finger in the whole
You've made
Just to make sure
You didn't miss,this time
Lick your lips
And give me that last Fuck you
As a parting gift
The feeling of enough is proof
I should back away slow
Love gets you killed
And love is all I know
So I show...

Overwhelmed
Undervalued
Fullstops
where comas should be
Loosing the plot,
One moment at a time
Her words are soft
The brown eyed,nurse of broken hearts
Monotone
Broken phone
Rings with unknown caller
All to known
Whats the point in secrets
When lies reveal themselves
The hostility of hushed tones
Sneaks into the background
Analitical of everyword
