I like to explore places that most people would rather ignore and sweep under the rug. I have studied many true crime cases and sometimes I allow that to reflect in my writing. I do not, however, let this pigeonhole me as a writer.

An Ironic Discovery
Walking into a murder scene
Seeing a mangled body lying before you
Blood escaping open slits on the wrists
Bruises and whip marks covering flesh that had been full of life moments open
Missing teeth allowing dead air to accumulate inside of the mouth
Cigarette burns so fresh you swear that you can smell the smoke
The item catching the most attention is the hair
The way it rests in strands, covering the victim's face
Keeping the identity concealed
Working up the courage to reveal the face
As the hair is moved a person's identity is found
Swearing...
