Of the many dreams
I dream at night

Who's sensitive and kind

My heart safe
Without letting it shatter

To discover the universe with

Who sees my imperfections

Pull me into your world
I want to live a story
Told in books
Full of fantasy
And magic
Help me to forget

In which I can taste the words
Make them linger
On my tongue
After each sentence

To close my eyes
And disappear into
Without a look back

Hurricane
Can you feel it
Creeping up your neck
Can you feel it
Tying knots in your stomach
Can you feel it
Kicking and screaming
Dying to let it all out
Can you feel
The air around you thicken
Can you feel
Your heart rate quicken
Can you feel
Your thoughts begin to swirl
Just want to make it stop
So come to me now
And with your voice
That sends shivers
Down my whole body
Whisper to me words
Tell me anything
Just let me hear you
Lift your magic wand
Swing it...

He said
Baby keep the lights on
I want to see
Your body move
Enjoy every expression
That you make
Love every part of you
And I felt a slight tug
At the strings of my heart
By the sound of your words
The look in your eyes
Finally I'm seen
By somebody
And I don't want to hold back
But darling
How can you be so sure
That you will like it all?
Will you keep your promise

I'm scared

Everything seems to change

A million times
And spend half of my life
Between these walls
At the end of the path

With so many different paths

You asked her out
To a fancy restaurant
And she said no
You were just a friend to her
Nothing more, nothing less
You asked her out
On a sunny beach
With red roses
And she said yes
You thought you finally had her
Yet just the other day
I caught a glimpse of her
In a dark lit bar
She was completely drunk
As she made out with another guy
And I told you what I saw
But you turned a blind eye
Because you loved her
And you still wanted to believe
She felt the same about you ...

The Party
There was so much smoke
I could barely breathe
Neon lights illuminated
The sweating bodies below
Thumping music overtook the room
Some trying to shout over it
Some singing along
Monkeys screaming in a cage
My whole body shook
At every earthquaking beat
They were all holding cups
With liquids I couldn't identify
Pushing, falling, screaming
Laughing, hugging, kissing
Like watching a show
From the last row
I tried letting go of the fear
Liberate my body from my mind ...

They say a smile
Could light up a room
Yet yours
Lights up the entire universe
Why don't I, just once
Make you smile like you do?
So you can light up my day
Wash the darkness away
