Tell me a story
Of a castle in the sky.
Show me a memory
Of eyes that didn't cry.
Tell me i won't get bad again,
Please tell me
I won't lose control this time.
Show me what reason
There is to fight.
Help me carry onward
Or lead me to the light.
Give me just one open door.
Help me build a better life
Cuz i don't want this one
To pass me by no more.
Tell me a tale of stars
Shimmering in the night.
Paint me a picture
Of cotton candy colored clouds
Brushed across the sky.
Show me that...

Forgive me
I was just a diagnosis
For so many years.
Not even human,
But drowning in tears.
And I was heartbreak
After heartbreak away
From becoming this mess
I am today.
I have been brave
for an awfully long time
But no one understands
This pain I feel inside.
And I cannot fight forever
But i will as long as I live
Even though
There aint no happy endings
I just hope that by the time
I leave this world
You'll have forgiven me.
For so many years.
Not even human,
But drowning in tears.
And I was heartbreak
After heartbreak away
From becoming this mess
I am today.
I have been brave
for an awfully long time
But no one understands
This pain I feel inside.
And I cannot fight forever

Even though

Lost
I lost myself today
Cuz the medicine
Doesn't take the pain away.
I pinch my skin
Just to feel.
Im hallucinating again
And i know
None of it is real.
I laced up my shoes
And went out the door
Walking for hours and
I don't know where I am anymore.
The years they fall and
These feelings will soon subside.
I remember the first time
My heart broke...
That was the day
That i died.
With all that I've become
Soon I'll have my bitter end.
Eventually, everyone I love ...
Cuz the medicine

Masterpiece
staring at the stars
in the middle of the night.
Fingers tracing scars,
memories flash across my sight.
I've done things
i'm not proud of
just to fit into a crowd
i thought i belonged to.
Sometimes i wish
i could grow wings, fly far away
like butterflies do.
looking into the sky,
feeling rather alone.
sitting, wondering why
sometimes HERE
doesn't feel like HOME.
half of me stands up,
willing to risk it all...
risk it all on love.
the other half,
constantly lies down, ...
in the middle of the night.

just like the moon
makes the pulse of the tides,
your very breath
makes every beat of my heart
that keeps me alive.
just like the thunder
pounds through the air,
your voice,
it soothes me
in my darkest hour.
just like the stars
burn in the sky,
your eyes,
they light my path
when i have lost my way.
just like a summer breeze
rolls in through the trees,
your touch
is so warm,
it melts this heart of mine.
just like the sun
rises in the east...
YOU ...

A Letter for the Devil
I do not come bringing Holy Water
But to tell You
Your armies cannot keep me
From entering your kingdom, ablaze.
And i do not come to save any souls...
I come to claim YOU.
I bring my dearest demons,
the ones inside my head.
And they are restless.
Their shadows have been dormant
For an awfully long time.
I have come to bring you down.
So, Devil...
I yield you this warning:
I have come to fight.
if you send any to stand in my path,
I will leave none alive.
I've come to claim...
But to tell You

So I Became...
Why should I apologize for being a monster?
No one ever apologized for making me this way..."

My heart
once feared the shadows.
So it became Pitch Black.
I was once scared
of Demons.
So i put mine on chains
and gave each one of them
a name.
I used to worry
about the possibility
of Monsters
underneathe my bed.
But I embraced the ones
inside my head
and Became one instead.
And when my screams
grow silent,
My thoughts
get rather violent.

UPBEAT INSPIRATIONAL POEM

You Will Always Be
..And before it ends
you need to learn
how to be strong...
~Be okay with your history.
it has made you
who you are, now.
You do not have
to love yourself.
But at least
get yourself to a point
where you CARE.
Give yourself
a chance
to finally make that choice
to become
who you WANT to be.
Even if it is
in pieces ,
Give this life
the BEST of you.
Do NOT settle
for who you are
in this moment, alone.
There is still more life to live.
And...
you need to learn
how to be strong...
~Be okay with your history.
it has made you
who you are, now.
You do not have
to love yourself.
But at least
get yourself to a point
where you CARE.
Give yourself

The Silence and The Fear
The roses have wilted
The violets are dead
and demons run circles
Around in my head."
"It is scary what a smile can hide."
~I don't care about myself at all anymore
I've pushed it all away.
not just to the side
but out completely.
~It has gotten to the point
where even if they DONT need me
I'm still giving the entirety
of myself to them.
~I will always go
out of my way
and out of my mind
to try and save someone.

Inside my Dreams
my dear,
i could tell you stories
of the places i have been
and i could show you memories
of the souls i have seen
darling,
just imagine
mountain tops
that pierce grey clouds
heavy with coming rain
an alle water droplets
pattering on your hair
cascading down your face
oh darling,
just imagine
trees lining a river bed,
the fluttering of birds
and on the ground,
foxes, romping through green ferns
my love,
can you not picture
concrete and steel towers
who's lights brighten...
i could tell you stories
of the places i have been

you fight.
the demons
we hide.
I'll wrap you in my arms
breathe strength
into your heart
and as you wish upon the stars
I embrace your many scars
