Poet Introduction
Intellectual, romantic, and philosophical... within my writings you will find beauty even in the darkest of places, and light even within the blackness of night itself.
A Goddess Reborn
- A Goddess Reborn -
In the coldest chill of the embracing night,
Unusual, for the dawn of pleasant spring…
I feel a cold as numb as any winter’s blight.
My heart dreads what the morn might bring.
And yet I do fight on, for I cannot do other.
My hand has grasped the hot, distant stars!
There is no ceasing of my darkest thoughts.
I am the child, and I am the exiled mother.
A veteran of the angels’ mad ancient wars,
In which my fallen spirit, once had fought.
Human beings I had loved did forsake me,
As I came amongst them, eyes...

Love’s Rebel
- Love’s Rebel -
Written on March 22nd, 2012, on My Birthday
My mother was a Leo; and so, from that lion my birth.
Aries is my sign and so the horns of the ram’s worth…
Mimic the crescent moon, the crown that sits celestial.
Was not my crown on high, no less sublimely surreal?
A crown of glory waits for everyone if they are kind…
And selfless to others: so that not a heart is left behind.
Not one soul is created perfect, yet perfect love can be!
Let me tell you what loving words were given unto me,
Inspired in my heart by a force some might call...

Prophet, Prophecy, and Gift
- Prophet, Prophecy, and Gift -
Vision I – The Storm
So many are constrained, in every land and nation,
Knowing not of freedom, nor of love's sweet elation.
Look on within thy heart, and the root of it appears,
We are the authors of all our woes and all our fears.
But a new dawn is coming, and from the land to sea,
Love will have its' blessed hour, and all shall be free!
Man can be a prideful beast, assuming many things…
Appointing himself above his station, in virtue’s name!
But we were there when man had yet no mortal kings,
And I...

Desire of the Scarlet Princess
- Desire of the Scarlet Princess -
An Expression of My Yearning Heart
If I must sing for my love to come, this is my tune…
For a princess must use what arts she learns, soon.
A body alone is merely cold, dead matter so inert,
Without the vibrant spark of life to grant it motion…
And what is the spirit, but a fair light so very alert!
It is truly alive, with the essence of all our emotion.
Some are beautiful and strange, in so many ways…
Works of art so pristine and perfect for all to see!
Some labor to become still more, all of their days....

A Maiden’s Journey Into Shadow
Act I - Doomed Through Love (Dawn)
The sun was rising above…
I watched him walk, a beautiful man in every way,
Androgynous and almost feminine in his beauty…
And I beheld in him some quality akin to my heart.
He was deep in thought, his long hair to thus sway,
Seeing me not, though I stood behind a nearby tree.
I watched him walk, and I wept to see him depart.
He sucked in his breath as he paced in the woods,
Inhaling a breath of fresh air, in the cool of autumn.

Wrapped in Daydreams
- Wrapped in Daydreams -
In the fair light of daybreak, when all is so still,
I walk in the meadows, when the air is yet chill...
Wrapped up in daydreams, and visions so fair,
That I dance about in circles, where few dare!
Spinning, spinning, like the silk of spider webs...
Glistening with dew, like the sweat in my hair.
Music in the movement, that ever softly ebbs...
As the stars of night vanish with dawn's glare.
Somewhere in the symphony, I've lost myself,
A speck beneath the trees that tower all about...
Whilst my spirit is taken like...

Downfall of Terra
- Downfall of Terra -
Part I – The Wrath of Olympus
Between Mars and Jupiter had been a world grand,
Ruled by a powerful queen, renowned in her land…
And I had been her sister, her lover, and her friend!
On that world we first called Terra ere its’ final end.
Cast out by my maker, and chased across the stars,
The queen took me in, and healed all of my scars…
I was even named her consort, and named her heir.
But that was before the bombs burned away the air!
When the flagship Leviathan was seen in the sky…
And the annihilation of the first...

The Silver Door
-~{ The Silver Door }~-
Part One: The Mountain Path
Riding through the woods, on a steed of light,
I try to find the true path and outrun the night.
Trees rushing past in a blur of blinding green,
I let myself laugh, until it turns into a scream!
Beside me is an angel, with a sword of flame,
As I leave the past behind me, none to blame.
Before me is a mountain I’ve climbed before,
Atop which is built a tower with a silver door.
My steed vanishes just before the high path…
As thunder resounds with all Heaven’s wrath.

Daughter of the Night and Sister of the Light
- Daughter of the Night -
Behold you now me…
This is who I am and who I have always been!
Just a girl by the window: waiting for midnight,
Deep in silence, bearing a cross of others’ sin.
Gazing to darkness, ignoring all evil and spite!
Craving no light, for the cruel used it against me.
Only night could offer comfort yet to my soul!
I stand revealed: by the window, for all to see.
My feet do not waver, the dark does console…
Comforting, washing away the tears of the past.
Daughter of the Night I became; cry no more!
My breast feels no...

Upon a Scarlet Sky
- Upon a Scarlet Sky -
Upon the canvas of the heavens I did gaze.
Watching the east, the autumn sky above…
And in the early hours of the morning haze,
There came to me, one I once did so love!
She was golden of hair, eyes brightly blue,
Her flowing jumpsuit white, with flowers…
Of green and pink to complement her true.
I was still enamored of her heart’s powers,
To touch me deeply with but one glance…
And so I called to her, forgetting her name.
Centuries it had been since our romance…
But my heart was drawn, a moth to flame!

Ripple of Annihilation
- Ripple of Annihilation -
A Parable of Loneliness and Jealousy
Part I – Inception
On a world now forgotten, I dwelt in androgynous beauty,
A goddess, a god, worshipped and feared by my creations;
Created out of loneliness, the pain of my exile to thus ease.
But in my sorrow, I found no cease, nor cause for elations!
Then came the twelve who reigned on high, distant kindred,
Children of certain of my children, or of my maker mayhap;
I never knew, I never asked, nor a word like that so said…
So lonely was I, and willing to such bright company...
