LOVE POEM

Fool
I loved you, not from the start
But from the moment I opened my heart
I struggled up-hill to prove I was the one for you
Even when it felt like you didn't want too
You told me, you would hurt me
But that fell on deaf ears
You showed you could hurt me
But I shook that off
and wiped away
my tears
Ignoring all my fears
All because... I loved you
I played the fool For you
repeatedly
Mr romance, I thought It could be
A Good look for me,
For you
And Not be the dog
you were used too!
...
But from the moment I opened my heart

You told me, you would hurt me

I am
I am
Created in the likeness of Him
I've been
corrupted and disfigured
By sin
Forged out of chaos
Scars covers my skin
Both on the outside
and deep within
So much pain
have I endured
that it has
become a
comforting friend...
my home!
Better to feel pain
than to feel alone
Harsh words are
a warm blanket
To me...
A Comfort zone
I'm so confused...
I was made in the image of
Him
But what have I become?
If HE is beautiful
that would make me
beautiful too...
Created in the likeness of Him

Love or Leave
My heart cries out in agony
Feeling a sense of insecurity
Confussion combined with
uncertainity
Which will it be?
Will she love me, or leave me
Everyday a new mystery
Never to be solved.
Tension so thick
can't breath through it at all
This situation is filled with
Climatic continuations
With a false sense of
resolution
as the lights dim
and the day ends
The question remains
Unchanged
What will it be
will she love me...
Feeling a sense of insecurity

Paying homage
Early in our relationship, I realized real quick that I had feelings for you. Feelings so strong I couldn't convey them the way I wanted too. I thought saying " I love you!" would be good enough. It wasn't... enough. No matter, how much I said it, it was never enough. I felt flustered, and frustrated. Like a kid who come home from school with something new, and he wants to demonstrate it, to you! Inside I was screaming Mommy, mommy I got something to tell you. Blind to the light
Blind to the light
It pains me to believe that I, no we, no
society has the audacity...
Or shall I say,
I am ashamed when I think that what has been graciously handed to you and me has been taken for granted.
Is it ok to live like we do, and be who we be, without any concern of what the outcome will be!
Christ died for Us all, you and me. Our salvation has been handed to us. We are debt free! Yet we live in this world of sin as if we have no fear. When in actually there should be! We declare we are saved but we shun our responsibility.
You see,...

What would you do
What would you do?
Would you go to jail for a crime you didn't commit?
Could you do it, if you had too?
As they take you away, would it bother you if someone who claims to love you, denies that he ever knew you.
Would that hurt you?
Even though you told them, thats what they were going to do!
Would you take getting beat to a bloody pulp in plain view, of everyone, as they cheered for your abusers to continue?
As flesh was being ripped from your body is that something you are willing to do?
Could you do that for me if I needed you too?
While still...

One day
One, such a
lonely number
One day I
turned around,
and you
turned away
I was left
Won-dering
deep down I knew
One day,
"I love you"
would turn into
"I hate you"
Opposites we grew into
One day, I woke up
I didn't recognize

Taste of you
Hot summer's heat
make for a long
sleepless night
Leaving me awake
lying beside
you admiring
your beautiful sights
As your silhouette is
bathed by the rays of
moonlight.
I am mesmerized
as your breasts
slowly lower then rise
As you quietly breathe,
rhythmically
Your nipples look so ripe
and perky
as they poke through
your silk nighty
Curiosity gets the
best of me
Gently I shift your gown
to reveal there are no panties.
Now I WAS barely awake
but now...
make for a long

The day starts out pretty quiet
nothing out the regular.
Until for some reason I look at the calendar.
27 days until my baby girls first birthday.
I begin to stress over all the games
her mom is about to be play.
My mind switches and I begin
to think about my little girl so I...
Sit here trying to keep it all in stride.
Bottle up these feelings keep it deep inside.
Got to keep going you got kids that depend on you.
But what about your little baby girl, she needs me too.
I am torn up inside...

Don't leave
Silence!
Nothing left
to say
Not a thing!
No safe place
to hide or to
run away
As your words
Keep replaying
Inside of my head.
Tearing through my brain
With the velocity
of a .22 caliber bullet.
Doing damage but not
enough power to
break through it.
The thought of
you, as you are
telling me that
"we are through,
I am leaving you"
continue to burn into
my mind with the same
affect as if it were
hydrochloric acid.
oh, what a pretty mess
It leaves
as I am left with...

to say
