Poet Introduction
In the end what I have wanted to do is that when someone reads something I wrote, it creates a song or rhythm in their mind using only the words on the page. That is my end goal...does that sound weird...? It probably sounds wierd....

War Machine
Pilots can you read me?” then I hear the click.
“There’s no more doubt.
We are headed out.
Don’t let your life end quick.”
As I turn on all my engines,
and I see how they are set.
There is tension, fear, and quiet
but never real regret.
As the hangar bay creaks open,
empty space fills up my screen.
I can see the motion and the sway
of our massive war machine.
We know it takes us through the stars.
It carries us so safely
I carry with me my memoirs.
As our shell rocks so sedately.
Flashing spinning...

These written words of pages plied
My linguistic tools on which I rely
Are all my drug to keep me sane
They pause the world and numb the brain
My reckless pen scrawls gibberish
Thoughts radiant in design
A mystery to the world
Conceptions I divine
Through negligence of sound regard
I repeat my ill mistakes
Fix these holes that leak the truth
Fix my constant aches
Problems seem to cultivate

The Meaning
Today I wrote a poem.
Within it was a quote.
A man who said, a most wise phrase,
became a man of note.
Words which tumble circles,
around metaphor and simile.
His malaise, which all portrays,
Knowledge, his repartee.
He explicates the meaning,
to a melee of strict applause.
His words convey the message,
His body shows the cause.
Expressing answers to questions asked.
A request to which no one was tasked.
Yet one believed that will connote.
Expressed concerns within his quote.
Alas, he bows to thunderous...

Simply Divine
With the stars above our head
I lay a blanket on the ground
On our temporary bed
Beneath the stars we can’t be found
I see the sheets around your hips
And with your hand locked into mine
I kiss your strawberry lips
And look to the sky divine
As the wind whips through your hair
We dance beneath the moon
And I can’t help but to stare
As you waltz to the silent tune
But the midnight light withdraws
So we lay silently conjoint
I rub your hands to help you thaw
My love can never disappoint

In this dungeon I have built,
I question all my thoughts.
As my body comes to wilt,
my mind has yet to rot.
Which is why that I contrive to sell the world my soul,
I know that they don't need it,
but still I play the role.
So long have I looked out these bars which tether me,
with guilt I never had,
by thoughts I never see.
But I will serve my penance
Justice has been served.
Just leave me with the remnants,
life that I reserve.

Music's Hue
I hear your notes of solid green
Purple hues which writhe and teem
On currents held within your ears
No finite laughter, or subtle tears
Strings quiver from your every touch
Fingers dance in measured time
Silently, both embraced and clutched
Enticed with trances so divine
Azure tints spit from the wood
Taking stock of where we stood.
Speaking of love, lost then found

Grace
Listen to the music draw, hear it from the pit.
I am full of shock and awe, more I won’t admit.
Light feet take me on the trip, as I begin to form,
soundless words which you might skip, with grace as is the norm.
My technique is absolute, my attitudes are rigid.
All my movements are acute, my body must be vivid.
The strings intone upon your heart, the sounds of loss and fear.
These limbs will move to help you chart, that intimate frontier.
If you can see my story, wordless it might be.
My body’s transitory, heartfelt, untold plea. ...

Every word's inflection holds a meaning I don't say.
Regardless of intention, or the method it's arrayed.
I try my best to say it, and hold my breath in hesitation.
I know I said it right, but now, I face an allegation.
I try to explain as best one can with lifeless words i weave.
They carry force which you assess and meaning you conceive.
I Snake the text 'till they possess a meaning I control,
but my expression was impeccable,
on a platform with no soul.

Calamity
This padded snow is seeping in.
My breath is hard and rash.
This girl has made a fool of me,
the fight was just a flash.
A glint of silver is what I see,
I move on intuition.
Perhaps I can get her to agree,
surrender as admonition.
But incendiary eyes
are what comprise
her unmitigated fury.
Her weapon whips
through air and sky
personifying her jury.
She missteps, and I imply,
gently, with my compound's eye,
the meaning of my words.
Iron chafes the ground of grass.
Her body shifts with fluent ease. ...
My breath is hard and rash.

Smoke and Thunder
Where smoke and fire scar a scene we've lost to history.
Comrades leave the corpses, those naive to victory.
"But armor does not tire, even hanging onto bone."
Those ragged men recite this creed when they die alone.
Leaders speak of fate and fear to hopeful crowds of eyes.
"No one makes the tacit choice of death without reprise."
Solace leaves the hearts of those wise enough to know
awful sights, which wait out there, and its audio.
"Can you hear the thunder of a thousand steel boots?
Will you heed the call of gods from armored metal suits?" ...
