Leave me in the dark
where I reside
let me sleep
and die inside

and make me hurt

and bury me in the dirt

they told me you were there
amidst the sweaty bodies everywhere
you sat there with everyone
having a drunken fun
then that person came along
that person you touched in the rhythm of the song
its seems like you didn't care
because I wasn't there
I guess this is the end
to being more than a friend
I guess you didn't feel the love or heat
because you were the one to cheat...

I know,
I should feel that way too...
but I don't
you can't make me feel something I won't
those feelings, Shania, aren't there
and for you, I still care
I like you,
just as a friend
and this isn't the way I wanted it to end
so please don't turn your back on me
I can't imagine how I'll end out to be
I love you as a friend and I want it
to be that way
so please....stay

But Maybe
But maybe
nine months of carrying me
was just some distant memory
those oh so sweet lullabies
were just part of all your lies
I know where you've been late at night
and that drink that started your plight
And those soft words laced with the smell of beer
made me sick everytime you came near
and your hurt and violence
was the thing that made me into nothing but silence
But maybe
we can finally be happy if you put down that drink
its much easier than you think
its better that way when you're around
and instead of me...

I'm dazed and confused
So I'm coming to you

and caught me before I hit the floor

and know what's going on in my head

A single dandelion wish
for you to be my first kiss
and a hope for a change in the weather
I was hoping we'd end up together
You were always my wonder
and a hug could have my dreams take me under
I melted in the palm in your hand
and that I thought you'd understand
I was happy to know your heart was burning red
and your words were mixed up in your head
and when your words came out in a rush
I was delighted to hear you ask," Can you be more than a crush?"

Radioactive
I'm waking up to this in my bones,
this feeling no one knows
Its tingling in my fingers
and the feeling of electricity lingers
i'm breathing in your scent
and its leaving my mind bent
You leave me radioactive
and its leaving me hyperactive
I can feel it radiate from deep inside
and there is so many feelings to hide
When I see you my hands shake
and you holding my hand me is more than I can take
my heart is burning red
and my words are getting mixed up in my head
and I think its because you're radioactive

If The Stars Should Disappear
If the stars should disappear
I’d make it very clear
That I’d daydream away in a feather nest
And forget about the rest
I’d quietly whisper a song
A secret song to sing along
And I’d have the skies swallow the sea
Then I throw away the skeleton key
To unlock the calmness
That is the only way I’d express
Myself if the stars should disappear
And that’s the way I’d make it very clear

The Scars On My Wrist...
The scars on my wrist
Are proof that people like you exist
I try to pretend that the feelings are there
And try not to care
It’s getting hard to lie
And smile instead of break down and cry
I’m tired of lying
I’m sad even though I’m smiling
Not all hearts and wounds heal
And you can’t always see the pain that someone would feel
Why do you turn away when I’m crying?
Can’t you see I’m dying?
I just needed you to save me,
Not kill me…

My Art
Do you want me draw a picture but with a twist
And have it slashed open on my wrist?
I’ll use a razor blade to draw the lines
And I’ll have many different kinds.
The paint will run down my arm.
And maybe this art can be your good luck charm
My art will show my different pains
But crisscrossed on my veins.
