Can I tell you?
How can I tell you,
so you don't run away?
How can I tell you,
without you making fun?
I can't.
Writing these poems is all I have.
It's so easy to put my words to paper.
It'll never get to you, and that makes it safer.
No one could ever understand.
Heck, I don't even get it.
At times it really pisses me off.
Other times, I couldn't even care.
Deep down tho, I'd tell you on a dare.
Should I call, tell you face to face, or send it in a message?
What do you prefer?
I JUST WANT IT TO BE...

Kiss Me
They say a kiss seals two souls for that one single moment in time.
I'm screaming inside, I want mine.
A time stopping, heart racing, pain erasing kiss.
Long, gentle, and passionate.
Is this really a feeling one can get?
A fantasy in my head, and now a moment of weakness.
A forbidden Temptation, mind blowing, passion is what I need.
Am I saying this right?
Will you just kiss me, tonight?
I'm screaming inside, I want mine.

Bugs
Bugs over here.
Bugs over there.
Everywhere I turn, BUGS BUGS BUGS.
Some you can squash, some you can spray
Most just get in the way.
Most lurk in the night, Some stay out all day.
They crawl on your things looking for treats.
You find them in your shoes, waiting to tickle your feet.
They're creepy and they're crawly, you feel em in your bed. Dare to rest your head?
You close your eyes, to imagine them gone. Only...SURPRISE, they're staring with their beady little eyes.
You flick em, and smash em, and create a little dance. Some run, some...

My Dear Frankie
You smile so proud
Your eyes are so blue
I looked at you and sunk deep into lust.
The touch of your hand as it brushed mine,
sent chills down my spine the very first time.
I wanted no man ever again,
until we touched that first day,
and my head started to spin.
Your voice is mesmerizing
and it invited me in.
So we went to a beach, my first time to swim.
I'm not gna to lie,
our first date was terrible.
One for the books, as they'd say.
It's the date that would keep others at bay.

How many of those do you spend thinking of him?

How many of those do you spend thinking of someone?
It doesn't matter the total.
If for just 1 second, 1 minute, or 1 hour each day.
One of those seconds, will soon take us away.
The time is now, to tell them how you feel.
Remember, wounds can always heal.
A mother, a father, a partner, a child, or friend.
A long lost lover, a crush, or an ex in the end.

It's been 2 years since I've made my decision.
There's no more anger, hatred, sadness or pain.
I have everything I once lost to get back.
It's time to get my life back on track.
I'm taking back my power you see.
There's no more of you yelling, screaming, or hitting on me.
Walking on eggshells I will no more.
This time I'm walking in front of you, and closing that door.
