Puddles
Puddles of rain
Collected together
Stepped in
Jumped on
They ripple
And splash
Basically fight back
But eventually die
Dry up and rise
All the way to the sky
Not a track
Left behind
But remain in our minds

Lost Dreamer
No one ever tells you
What it's like
To not fulfil
Your dreams
Put yourself out there
And then be crushed
By people you respect
When you see it happen to others
You try and picture it
How they must feel
To be
All out of hope
Well, when you realize
That its not gona happen
That you're stuck to either
Give up
Accept that it wasn't mean to be
Try and convince yourself
To let it go
What you've been working towards

To not fulfil
Your dreams
Put yourself out there
And then be crushed
By people you respect
When you see it happen to others

But you lied
How cliche
You said you thought I was beautiful
You loved my dippled smile
You loved my humor
You siad you enjoyed spending time with me
You left me 20 messages when I was sick
Dropped off soup
You wanted to protect me

When Your eyes are a mirror
Everyone know your every emotion
Every secret
Every lie
Frightened face
Secret crush
Every moment of embarrassment
Displayed for all to see
No blank canvas
No cloth faces
Its the curse of never
Keeping something to yourself
Someone can look you in the eye
And pier down into your soul
Reading you like a book
Flipping through the chapters
Dog tagging the pages
Flipping to the end

But we find away
To talk everyday
Clicking inbox till you sign out
Replying till my laptop dies
Your at a different stage in life
I, new to this world

Inspire each other
We don't need to share specific physical qualities

The real world don't care
If your pretty
You have 1,000 friends
You were a cheerleader
Can you get into a good College
Where are you working
Are you a hard worker
Experience
Perseverance
Talent
Cause you got to take responsibility
Grow up
And learn to shut your mouth
There are some people you gotta respect

Looking myself in the eyes
My biggest bully is myself
Every time I choose to go a different path
I let myself down a little
Like i will never follow through
Finish what I started
And When I tell others
I see that disappointed look
It tear me apart
I hate not fulfilling others expectation of myself
And my own expectations
You can yell at me all you want
Be as loud as you can
SHOUT
Throw things
Cry
But I know
Where I have failed
And trust me

A Quitter
Lazy
Spoiled

Stay in line with the others sheep
All my life i have gone where you told me to go
Did what you told me to do
But i have done some things on my own
Not much, little life experience
But you know best
You raised me
Bread me to be your own

I have been obedient
But the road your putting me on is familiar

That Sound
The saddest sound in the world
Is the sound of you zipping up your suitcase
Knowing I'm not coming with you
That you can just pack up everything that matters to you
In a 21 by 9 inch suitcase
The two metal ridges being pushed
Sealing it all together
You have made the decision to leave
Leave me behind
Not be apart of my future
To not be present at my big accomplishments
You had a choice
And you didn't choose me
And you left
I hate the sound of a suitcase zippier
Is the sound of you zipping up your suitcase
Knowing I'm not coming with you
That you can just pack up everything that matters to you
