MISCELLANEOUS POEM

The voices
I say goodnight to my beloved friends.
And pray the best for them.
And let the voices slowly leave as they drift into dreams of greater things.
But then,
The soft sad voices start to sing.
And my mind rolls to lull into sleep, awake but lost in steamy streets.
They don't know what I think when they leave.
But I do.
They don't think when I leave.
But I do.
I drift into the deep dark of evil marked flashes and slow meltdowns of mindlessness.
What if I leave.
What if I don't come back?
And so I remember to breathe again, and air...
And pray the best for them.

Between the lines
Words fall shy.
Beginning with a subtle dream
That I once dreamed of you.
White, just white.
Life didn't give me a door, so I had made my own.
Wow, time went by.
Now, blood runs dry.
All I did was build you up,
All you did was let me down.
Always gave me promises,
Always gave me empty ones.
Now I can read between the lines, now I see what has been the whole time.
Lies, just lies.
Even if you knew or not,
You were not yourself.
My, oh my.
It took me quite a while,
To learn what or who you are.

At a glance,
Took no chance,
Peering in,
Struggling,
It ended with:
Red eyes,
Red flags,
Red lines.
You said that you were clean,
You said that you had changed, But when the daylight came,
I found you just the same.
Now I'm at a loss for words,
Now look at where we are at.
These days you think you feel the worst, The straw that breaks your back.
You can work yourself to the bone.
True but don't hurt your own home
Lose like life might not condone.
Look at the proof all around you!
How much will it take...

I am standing on the threshold.
The threshold to a new hell.
This one's got the blue fire,
From this one there's a way out, yet I remain still.
There is a path I think, leading to a place full of calm exhalations.
But,
I don't like the green,
I don't want the gold.
I think I need the blue.
Maybe black will do.
This place's tried and true,
At least so I've been told.
Just hate being seen.
That's all.

And you wouldn't show him,
I didn't know then.
Kathrine, I'm sorry cuz It was appalling for you.
And I tried to save you but Sometimes my "love" makes them lose.
Please if you hear me,
Forgive and repair me,
Because I'm bleeding for you
You were so weak then.

I knew your weakness.

Look so dead.
Nothing, no thoughts in,
In your head,

Night has fallen,
I wait for sound.
I hear just the ocean,
These sounds surround.
The waves of feeling Crash all around.
My problem,
Lies in the deep.

exploitation is, Where emotion lives
Make them do.
Make them say.
No thoughts engage.
Don't let it slip out.
If you run hard,
If you run far,
I could say all is well and feel like you are on my side.
Don't let it slip out,
Just trust me I know.

Alone.
A low sound ripping through the air.
A grey crown I may wear upon my head.
The gradient shifts slowly yet effortlessly in my stead.
Alone now slipping past the bed.
Or is it a tomb?
Not all will see grey,
But all will hear it.
Not long to feel days,
Somehow perceive it?
Time betrays me.
Lies portray weak.
Why implore things,
When grey is discrete?
The glass has turned to grey,
The sea is made of glass.
The sea returns the days,
The days make up the past.

And I didn't have to hurt you,
But you said not to move,
The fleeing it fails me, Confront and impale me, It's true.
I'm bleeding.
Waking up and breathing but you don't care, short tempered and seething when its not fair.
Living and feeling and being aware.
Sometimes life will throw you a curve and just in spite of it you will learn to preserve, All the things you love,
Like to live and thrive,
But there is no place to hide
Or get away from this.
My mind needs a crutch,
No room for your shoves,
Said something about love,
Blind...

I slaughtered and buried my enemies,
And my friends I kept in the fridge.
Their pictures hang on the tapestries,
And their memories sound like the kids
Outside the home of depravity
The house where I used to live
Everyone alive has capacity,
But not everyone caves in.
Still we all want to be happy
And yet we love mortal sin
Pulled on blue gloves for examining
This heart that I am stuck with

Keep a graveyard out in the back, sneak the brave-hearts into a trap, weave my ramparts throughout the past.
Hey look, Making excuses...
