Liars Convention
A few months ago several friends onsite asked me how was my Thanksgiving?
Basically I gave them a friendly run around because I don’t celebrate any holidays. But I seriously don’t believe in shitting on anyone else’s belief’s or dreams. So as I said I shadow danced around with my answers, but because so many people asked I decided to write it down.

Within a dream I may have been deranged
I saw a three legged horse with a bad case of the mange
Upon his back was a skeleton wearing chains
Some flesh still clung to him, but everything else had been drained
He rode up to me and showed me my destiny as it unfurled
From his saddle bags he produced gems from around the world
He showed me myself as a young man sitting upon a powerful black steed
I would become invincible in battle if I performed but one deed

You draw me from the shadows like the vilest of illness
It is as if I’m chained and have no will in this
Reading scripts written in blood, sweat, and feces
We built our world upon the deaths promised beneath me
Death as we know can not produce life
The darkness is what it is, we are the opposite of light
We exist in existence’s lows, we are afraid of the heights

The Perfect Storm
Snow is piling up to my windows and it’s not even snowing
Winter is all up in the bedrooms and it’s showing
There are gale forces inside, but outside the wind isn’t blowing
Neighbors don’t venture here, they are all in the knowing
Nor’Easter, this is where the perfect storm came and lives
Conflicting weather fronts because no one wants to say “I give”
Where does the wind blow when high pressure can’t find a low pressure zone
Back to back sleeping on your side of the bed, all alone
Lying there listening to the sleet as it pelts the window...
