i have been writting for 6 years now i write poems to express my feelings and thoes of others for me poems are a way of letting out my anger and feelings without revealing to much.

Have I?
Have I ever hurt you or made
You feel bad? Have I ever
Screamed at you and made you
Worthless or sad, have I?
Have I ever called you out of
Your name or made you feel
Angry or ashamed of who
You are, have I?
Have I ever made you feel as
Though you didn’t belong or
Everything you do is wrong, have I?
Does anything I say to you make
You lay awake at night and cry
Or wonder why? Just plan out
Why? Have I?
Does anything I say hurt you in

after the smoke settles
After the smoke settles
There’s nothing left behind
Just a little girl lost in thought
With broken dreams and an
Empty mind
After the smoke settles her
Heart is filled with fire and ice
She gets chills in a room even
Though it’s warm
When the smoke settles her
Face is damp with tears as she
Reminisces on her past life she
Always seems to break down and
Cry because it had never been so
Hard her life was like a fairytale
At the start
But It managed to go up in flames
So when the smoke settles...
There’s nothing left behind

trapped
She stands there in a dark
Ally wanting to know which
Way to turn she listens to no
One and gets nowhere in turn
Nights turn into day and day
Turns in to night
But she can’t this darkened place
She lays down and rolls over to
To her side on the hard ground
Because there’s nowhere to hide
The shadows engulf her like flames
Her heart gapes like an opened
Wound listening to people call her
A fool she confused she wishes she
Could fade away and leave like the
Past or yesterday and never come
Back but
There is always...
Ally wanting to know which

she feels
She tries to talk but they silence her
Some much hurt lies inside of her
Some many people talk about her
Laughing at her she cries alone
They claim to feel her pain but
But only she knows the hate
So she rolls with it same smile
Different day same problems
Different race everyone has them
But she never tells hers she holds
It all in her anger builds blinding at
Times every word is like an offense
She yells as a defense and it only gets
Worse because even though they say it
No one knows her hurt
Some much hurt lies inside of her

the war
We feel likes its over but the
Trial has just begun another
Battle to be fought another
War to be won but why do we
Fight our neighbors and why are we
So unstable and why is there so
Much hate and why do we all
Partake in this war we say we
Hate and we claim that’s it’s just
Our fate but we all know the
Truth that real war lies right
Inside of you a constant battle
With yourself and you take
Out your anger on everyone
Else and you insist that you
Don’t need help but there’s
Always something else to face
Everyday’s...

sweet nothings
Tonight was the best night of her life
Filled with gentle touches
And sweet nothings
Holding her close was…
Gentle blows from her cheeks to her shoulders
Sending a slight tingle all over
She slides her hands between her thighs
And to her surprise she opens her eyes
To find that she had been asleep
The whole time
