You
Because you craved a diminutive dream
For what was so seemingly extraordinary
Especially for you
You awarded it with a false ideal of
Forever
And, you now know that forever isn’t any more true
For a rock, or an ocean, or, you
Especially, you
[when change comes, breathing new life, beautiful estuaries replace barren slopes]
Yet, deep inside the comforts of static
You held a glimmer of hope in your hands
A glimmer than turned into a sun
Which burned too hot to touch
Scalding
You had to let it go
But that sun didn’t...

Love
Your turned us into an over told joke
Your ears have deafened to my cries
You once sought to protect me, now you provoke
Left heartbroken and confused, fury my guise
Who are you now, when you uncloak?
You’ve become everything that I despise
You smother me with apathy, I could choke
Still, you feed me mouthfuls of lies
I sign off from you with one pen stroke
My freedom is my prize
You threaten fire, but you just smoke
All the years, gone like braids without ties
From dream to nightmare, then I woke
When you live through this...

You’re such a lame ass fucking joke
With your deceitful blatass cries
You fuck with me, you provoke
Hide behind an innocent fucking guise
One day, fucker, it’s you I’ll uncloak
Truly, it’s you I fucking despise
God I hope that you fucking choke
On your mouthful of lies
Have a fucking stroke
Your surprise/ my prize
I’d set you afire, and watch the smoke
as flames ate away our ties
To your spineless bullshit, I am fucking woke!
Yeah, motherfucker, I got wise
To all the untruths you fucking spoke
You’re dead in my open...

Paltry
You’re not a stand up guy
It’s like you don’t even try
I suppose it’s no wonder why
I curse your name, & hope you die
Seriously doubt I’d even cry...
It has been nothing but lie after lie
From your lowest low to your highest high
The fuck you don’t give is the one that can fly
Your woe is me sob stories just make me sigh
If I were you I couldn’t look me in the eye.
But it’s easy to comprehend
The life you live is all pretend
A shoulder for me, you ain’t got it to lend
And that bridge between us? ...ain’t gonna mend ...
It’s like you don’t even try
I suppose it’s no wonder why

Kill
You
“Kill your darlings”, they say; it’s true
So, I gotta do what I gotta do
...not because I want to
But, because I have to.
Darling, ....you;
Broke a constellation of promises, so, I promise to;
Give your life an ‘undo’.
How will I end you?...
Oh, I wish I knew.
I can leave you bloated, black & blue...
I can conjure a catastrophe you’ll fall unto...
Or, blade to bone, I can slice right through...
And, just for you,
I can pencil in a bumbling...

Myriad of scars
Long ago, before she was ever hunted by the beast,
She had only drank from the cool river of freedom.
One fateful day it happened; she was caught
unaware. Her body, suddenly foreign, to move was a struggle.
The harsh truth, lesions, white, many, & irreparable.
Multiple sclerosis. Many losses, her heart was shattered in sorrow.
Her mind, now pregnant, birthed new sorrow.
She felt herself collapsing beneath the weight of the beast.
She no longer knew who she was. She was broken, irreparable.
Drowning in a tumultuous salty sea,...
She had only drank from the cool river of freedom.
One fateful day it happened; she was caught
unaware. Her body, suddenly foreign, to move was a struggle.

Unreachable
She was having a certain level of difficulty discerning the exact moment it had started. She knew it started somewhere…everything else did. Maybe it had been during the summer that she could not smile. Not even if she had wanted to. Everyone smiles every now and then- she didn’t…not for a year. If she had, I think her face would have cracked like a hunk of dried clay turned brittle. Heavy & cumbersome- it fit her well in her perdition.

Clutch
Something had to give
Or, it was going to break
…shatter
…explode into fragments so sharp they could sever gravity
The machine had been running on vapors for far too long
Nothing oiled
Nothing lubed
Everything got too hot too quickly
Everything groaned, screeched, & whined as it threatened to seize
Irreparable
Each piece, to the tiniest, was twisted, and fucked six ways from Sunday
It was so many things…
The one thing it wasn’t….
It wasn’t good
So far removed from good that it was miserable
A junk pile of outdated...
Or, it was going to break

You’re just another Sadist case
A military grade weapon carrying disgrace
A grip on compassion, you ain’t got a trace
A dirty mouthed smirk plastered on your face
You’re a synthetic killer; not your natural place
Tears are shed for my kind, to kill me- a waste
For you- comeuppance will come! Post haste!
[The blood of a Fudd, my kind wants a taste]
Your barbaric & cruel killing volition
I avoid your kind [innate bipedal suspicion]
The lies that you tell, paint my kind the villain
It’s you & your ilk that crave my blood...
