The Door
My name is Angel, for I am good,
no, call me the devil, your sin is my food.
I am youthful, I am old.
I am burning, I am cold.
I am worthless yet I am gold.
On my own, and destined to be alone,
no, I am legion, altogether, in numbers we've grown.
I am solid, I am hollow.
I am deep and I am shallow.
In shackles but I am free, all these are now me.
I am beautiful, perfect, like how you see me before.
No, I am hideous, now flawed is what I am, nothing more.
I am exposed, I am stealthy.
I am innocent, I am guilty. ...

I want to live my life.
I don't want to feel like I'm losing this fight.
Give me your light.
I don't want to be down here forever.
Sometimes I want to lay low,
from being me and be like no one at all.
But everytime I do so,
the other part of me takes all the fall.

I need it so badly right now.
Beneath the fake moonlight,
a howling guitar screams overnight.
Waiting for the calming light.

Four Walls
I am here,
inside my four walls,
singing to myself,
worry about things and might have beens.
I fear, for the first time,
hoping it's the last,
that I'll be scared of these four walls.
Here I see sad stories,
souls breathing hastily,
like people praying in a church.
But I hear,
some are crying,
some are dying too.
Well, I just wish I'm somewhere else.
While I'm here, ...
inside my four walls,

Multiverse Yous
If you were fart,
it may sound like a little "pffft" at the start,
but the smell's off the charts.
The unavoidable scent of my love can fill an entire Wal-Mart.
If you were feet,
dear, you'll never ever stink.
You'll smell like... What's that lovely perfume you wearing? Victoria's Secret, I think.
I'll savor your aroma that is so sweet,
and I'd love to tickle them toes too baby, that is, if you're feet.
If you were a booger,
I'll never blow my nose.
I might die of Cerebral hypoxia, who knows?
I just want you...

Thank You (A conversation with Aphrodite)
Aphrodite, I ask of you,
spare just a second to look where love has gotten me into.
Through the years you've been so cold.
Though in my darkest hours you came and I struck gold.
My goddess, I am so sorry.
Never did I realize such tragedy can bring a wondrous thing to me.
I am my own planet once and thought it would be forever.
Now that she's with me, we revolve in our own universe and I could leave her never.
Her voice is "Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini (18th variation)".
You chuckled at that, seeing that...

A Place Called "My Heart"
I can see the future,
tomorrow's just the same.
Some say the morrow is a saviour,
maybe not for the hopeless and insane.
My head is filled with questions,
what ifs and thoughts of blue.
The answer came as one more riddle,
barely giving me some clues.
"Why raise me up to bring me down?",
this question haunts my mind.
My soul says, "Go", but I've been told
not to see with eyes so bold.
The night is like an archive,
a chest of countless memories.
Days are spent with endless yearnings.
My only need is to...

Hope
I don't know why
I keep searching for the reason,
but I think I'll try my life for one more season.
I don't want to die,
not yet for any reason,
but I hope you'll buy
these sappy things I'm saying now.
I don't usually cry
at weddings and/or funerals.
I prefer it dry
in cities even rural.
When my mother died,
I've done things out of season.
I haven't even said goodbye.
I'm hoping she can hear me now.
But as time goes by,
Life plays the same old keys,
you bet I'll try
not to sing off key.
I still don't want...

By The River
We all walk on down the road that leads to understanding so many things.
Strode a long, cold, lonely journey to a colored land where dreams never lie.
We've all been stranded by the river,
while searching for the answer.
Restless by river,
of hope.
We all wait for that someday, the chance or a break that'll make it alright.
Most of us expect it, but for some, those days never really come around.
It's the same old story, by the river,
begging for the answer.
Wading by the river,
of hope.
We all climb different slopes as our spirit tries...

All Things Must Pass
I've been here for almost a lifetime,
I don't always remember where I've been.
Spent my days on pain, dreams and wine.
But does it matter what I've done?
Does it matter what I'll do?
Live life close- eyed,
I met myself along the way.
Listened to free birds and let the wind show the way.
But does it matter where I've been?
Does it matter?
When all things must pass.
Love got lost, and then it found me,
then I felt it slipping through my hands.
I met a lot of friends in the shade of a fake plastic tree.
But does it matter who...

There are times when I can't remember.
Now, more often than not, I can't forget.
The heart can't relate
when the mind is screaming "Hate?!". Is this fate?

Start From Where You Stand
Look at your right side,
there's no room for truth in politics.
Greed is now the leader.
Look at your left side,
even laymen lie for sustenance.
Dishonesty is the killer.
Look at your right side,
the man's selling peace and buying
war machines.
Pay tax in the form of bloodshed.
Look at your left side,
they feed them guns and grow as
patriots. (so-called)
Come back dead and you're a hero.
Look at your right side,
one religion screams "we're the one!",
while other claims that they are.
