POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
With mirth and laughter let old wrinkles come.
Wishes
I wish I have a friend like you
Next door to my home coloured in blue
I would visit you whenever I want to
Or when you need me to be with you
I would paint our fingernails blue
and dye my black hair pink....
I wish I had a million dollars
So I could buy a flight ticket for two
To visit a few friends from dup
To raise a glass or two
and toast, well met my friends of dup
I wish I could if only I could
Make this wish come true today
Not for myself but for us too
To live a life of happiness
and love and...

A Sinner's Plea
Sing me a lullaby to make me sleep
A song that makes me sink so deep
Into the land that deep dark realm
where sinners and innocents dream
The soothing song that induces slumber
will make me forget my waking blunder
of sinning against my fellow man
To claim, to need what is not mine
The sins abound in my darkened soul
I lied, I killed, I plunder, I stole
Every single things that I could reach
as long as they made me filthy rich
So now this final lullaby
sing it right and sing it high
Hold that knife strong and...

Spectres of Unhallowed Grounds
A vice like grip, terror grasped my soul
Aided by horror and fear made real
hearing whimpers and mewling growls
echo out of gangrenous wells
rustling from depths only evil prowls
Cacophony of voices from deep shadows
Where promises of hell
Are spoken in whispery wails
Slithering by the snakelike phantom
Brush the hair from exposed neck
Feeling the cold from feet up
Towards the body, like rippling scowls
Unbeaten unbidden through the night
As I pass through unsanctified grounds
Where evil killers and murderers

Needing a little Respect
Respect is earned they said
Can it be true
For whatever I do
I never get any respect around here
I baked a pretty cake for him
My pretty blue eyed boy
Hoping he'd respect my efforts
He looked at it and stifled a laugh
I tried too hard to earn respect
I swot at school and got all As
Coming home to show by parents
My happy dog ate it instead
How do I get some respect
from around here
I tried to wash laundry
Brush all shoes and sundry
But nobody cares what I do
Or have achieved
What...

Missed You
A ringing silence of nothingness
The screen died, was dead
Yahoo and Google mocked
Blinking on colourful screen
Error error error
The chair wanted to connect
With the idiotic glass face
Pacing through the house
Like a thoughtful sage
Or an expectant father
What who how when
Did happened then
A cruel joke, a bad word
A curse, some assholes complaints?
Acceptance
Saying a silent goodbye
A tear drop for about 300
Badly written poems
Soul said hey its back
A breathless click
Ah its...

Heart and Soul collides
(A Collaboration by Souladareatease and Grace)
Twinkly stars on sky of velvet
Like curtain falls on light of day
Shines quiet from twilight sky
Sparkles of gold on dreamy hues
I wish on these my souls imagery
To leave the shroud of sorrow
Hued in darkness dreams of yore
Tell me then, o soul who dares
What dreams beset you
That makes you smile in your repose
Aye, captain of the midnight sea
Carry these visions upon manifest destiny
thumping beats of strong winded song
plucked out, grace...

Glass to glass, a cheer to life
(Collaboration: Souladareatease and Grace)
Dawn's sun rays glitters gold
Glimmers of gossamer dream dusts
On green drooping blades of grass
Hang on tips, collected dew drops
collected from silent sorrow tears
Reflections of your smile
these sing dawns arrival
they die of old, re-birthing tomorrows
develop and flower
style pistil petal
returning spring of Persephone
Dance in the meadow
Meadows of heaven
Spirit of Soul's fantasia
there, love lust-less recline
smiles to salve a broken heart ...

Every time
I look up the sky every time
When I feel the tears in my eyes
For I know we are under the same blue sky
We breath of the same air
Even though we are continents apart
The golden circle that binds us
Has not lost it's strength
I send my love through the passing breeze
Whisper my longing through the air
Weep my loneliness away at twilight
Clasping the pillows you had rested on
I lay my aches on this mat
Close my eyes and feel your arms
In my waking dreams
I look up the sky every time
I think of you my beloved
The sun...
When I feel the tears in my eyes
For I know we are under the same blue sky
We breath of the same air
Even though we are continents apart
The golden circle that binds us
Has not lost it's strength

Lonely Melody
Whispers of dawn
Blushes the eastern sky
Soft blow gentle zephyr
Caressing the leaves
Rustles the reed upon the bank
Of the silent lake
I wake to the melody
Of nature
Sparrows and larks
They flit by
Singing warbles only they understand
Beauty abound
But I see nobody
I am not with anybody
So much beauty
But it's so lonely.
Blushes the eastern sky
Soft blow gentle zephyr
Caressing the leaves
Rustles the reed upon the bank

Cowboys and Indian
They came they saw and they conquered
the land they thought was theirs to take
they planted their stakes
they circled their claim
with fences of barbed wires
The red men looked on affronted
their guests so pale had taken their land
Their hope to live in harmony and peace
Killed by people who claimed the land
owned by ancestors thousands of years
table talks and smoking pipes
nothing made the foreign one leave
until they fought to free their land
but sank to defeat under lush green fields
the visitors triumphant

Changes II
Paddy terraced on the hills
a green so deep and yet so still
hot the sun during harvest time
no time to play or dream
of laughter, leisure and good times
I wish I was so filthy rich
and have someone do the job for me
The sea that mirrors azure skies
yet could boil in deadly rage
With coils of waves so high
that the brave stay along the shore
thinking of loss from fishing
for dinner and coffer
wishing he has a larger trawler
The forest, gigantic trees
gazetted as a park by those who knows
to conserve nature at its best...
