I live in
This world that
I cannot stand
People scream out
They cry out
But nobody listens
This world is
Dark and morbid
And full of
Hate and oppression
No one understands
There's no way
To get out

This universe that
Hates those without
Homes and families
Who beg on
Street corners daily
For a meal
This universe is
Scarier than one
Would dream of
Its full of

To escape here

the beaches which you walk
Yet so close

Tomorrow comes, tomorrow goes.
I'm still waiting
On my toes.
Holding every breath,
Not thinking twice.
Time goes so slow
It never flies.
