From the heart
Pinned up on my shoulder
Where it does belong
Sits my fragile heart
Aching to sing its song
That beating hearts song
Goes something like this
Its not word for word
But i believe you'll get the gist
"If you wake me don't brake me
I'm a fragile little thing
I love to be loved but I love to love too
Oh wont you hear me sing
I sing of beauty and of spark
As well as passions limbs
But every step I take with you
My inner fire dims
Heartbreak is my disease

Enemy...
The silence haunts me,
It has for quite some time now.
Funny how in the midst of such silence,
You can still hear the voices of those who once were.
I lay here with my rifle in hand,
And a cigarette in my mouth.
It's only a matter of time before they get to me.
There are only so many bodies one can hide behind,
Befor he is caught out.
My hands tremble as I try to get a spark from my lighter,
Which is hard to do when the rain is penetrating the earth,
Like millions of tiny tears.
I often mutter to myself,
Why am I here? What...

We do not cry...
We are gathered here today,
Hand in hands and arms by sides.
All dress in black and crying skies.
Can you guess how old one is to die?
I can't see beyond what lies here,
Whispers I hear of life, truth, and mercy.
How the ones who lay before us lead their lives,
Full and rich.
Yet in my eyes, I only bear tears.
As a child I stand here, heart wrenched and turned.
A look straight up to see the figures towering above,
I turn to the rose covered slab.
It darkens my eyes.
It's cold, it's hard, it's industrial and it's commercial....

Smokey abyss...
As the smoke cleared,
and the souls that once wandered this earth stop crying,
He arose.
Back aching from the arrow that pierces his armor.
Bleeding from the lacerations that cover him,
And crying as the salt from
His tears and sweat tortured his wounds.
He lay battered, worn and lost.
His eyes dance around the battlefield,
In hope of finding life.
However his vision was clouded by the stench,
Of dead bodies and blood that surrounds him.
He screams for help yet hears nothing but echoes.

I know your face, round like a moon,
And yet hidden behind the darkness of your hair.
Glimpse of light, like stars through the night,
Eyes that reflect the beauty of the world in front of them.
Your out in the cold but your heart is warmer
Then the sunlight that you reflect.

Without praise...
Out from the shadows I come,
In times of peril, destruction and uncertainty.
With hands swift and a mind just,
I light up your world, taking away the danger.
Rebuild what once laid in destruction,
And bringing certainty to your questioning mind.
As quickly as I had come, I leave,
Leaving without praise, without recognition.
Just a wandering soul,
Sent to purify all that plagued your world...
In times of peril, destruction and uncertainty.

As the sun beats down on my undying body,
I see your face, as clear as the night sky.
And as pure as the moon that fills the world with a dimming glow.
These chains that bind me to my own destruction,
Rust as the years go by.
My body may grow old and die,
Yet my love for you will always go on.
Your voice is all I live for, even when you are distant,
