I touch you in the mirror
you perspire a liquid dream
I bathe in the waters of time
when the moonlight is high
We dive into the seduction of love

Time heals a blanket of denial.
Moments of lucidity turn to shadows.
Purpose dissolves into obscurity.
All that is left is a casket of dust,
Scattered through the wilderness.

I like to take the train
it doesn't matter where I'm going

on a journey to somewhere
I need to re-enter my conscience
for I have been in orbit
to an unknown destination
sailing into starlight

for I have been jilted

breaking the mould,

I can still smell the scent of her
Just an effervescent memory
that lingers on my skin
when we kissed on the stairwell
You made me feel alive
now I am lost
in the vagaries of love
fading into time
as the river of our destiny
is swept out to sea
Sometimes I dream of you
bathing in the water
the reflection of your beauty
spills into my heart
I don't like the thought of you
being with another man
it makes me feels so helpless
but I know you can't resist
the passion...

The sea of words has turned to sand;
A tired wind retreats.
Why must I feel this weariness?
Erasing all belief.
This curtain call of summertime;
This isolated beat,
Is drumming through a pleasure-dome
Where love is bound to meet.
I struggle to convince myself;
I struggle to believe,
That all I ever visualized
Is just beyond my reach.
I contemplate a better life,
Where love is truly found.
The entrance to Elysium
has left me underground.
A tired wind retreats.
Why must I feel this weariness?
Erasing all belief.

in Autumn rain
immoral thoughts
and coffee stains
She scribbles notes
on serviettes
a phantom kiss
upon her neck
The wicked deeds
she has in mind
between the words
she underlined
The smell of oak
and leather straps
her body drips
like candlewax
To a place
the devil knows

of shallow need
