Trauma
Immure me deeply
Force your weakness through my veins
Tainting the very heart
that feeds
my skeletal remains
I lay dying here
morosely
Upon this pedestal
I’m frail
No way to elude the voices
Urging me
to not prevail
My tears fall
nonchalantly
To reveal my thinning husk
For those defining me as penetrable
I breakdown most every dusk
I shy away from fawning
Hold my candle to the flame
But when I burn down to the bottom
I know I’ll never be the same

Insanity is demeaning
in a way that deplores
Sealing an obsession
Normalities misused
And honestly
these mannerisms
are unjust
and confused
The wisdom of deferral
precludes my dismay
As the integrity of freedom
moves to delay
This profound inconvenience

the consistency of time

Striving for prosperity
To be the master of revival
But a toxic fluctuation
Has affected my arrival
Depraved inconsistencies
Entangled human swarms
The lack of breath
will take what’s left
To reveal this brand new form
With such incense we coexist
And pay the applicable fees
To receive an inadmissible lifetime

A simple allegiance
Wherefore to forfend
Shaping the visions
All tempters portend

The ceiling
Is of darkness
The ground

Chiseling away the facade
That has tapered my light
Pallid reflections
Of a prevalent fight
My palette
Of perception
A generous collection
A thousand shades of a painting
