Why do you trust me so much?" He ask searching my eyes as his knife searches for fear in my skin.
It is difficult to explain the way his eyes utter so many words with out a whisper. How I know he will hurt me, but not with a blade, not this way.
In part I wish that the blade had been worthy to save me the hell I now live.
It is a silence that lacks answers or premoniton. An unknown I long too know.
I am no longer young, growing into nothingness, toying with notions.
I am deshelved and damned to love the weak and remain strong.
I am simply waiting for your mind...

The train leaves promplty at 8.
I acknowledge that its 5pm on a Tuesday and the air around us is still clearing of toxic waste.
Our moon hasn't reached its peak and the sun is blinding,
too many mouths with plated tounges, turned up noses, fake smiles.

I can not bare the lashings of your tongue when it bitters with rotting flesh.

I used to hate walking in heels,
but the pain of a 6 inch spike pertruding from my heel in comparison too a 6 inch blade to the heart makes it more appealing.
I can walk in pain,
but fall in broken..

Frostbite on an open flame,
Perhaps that is our fate,
To bite the pain, swallow it down and love the ways of its rage, its screams, our sound.

Unselfish
V are you okay?!" My step daughter finding me on the bathroom floor trying to hide from them the pain.
"Don't worry about me sweetheart I'll be fine!" Trying to smooth things over, she can see my tears... see through my little white lie.
"I have to, you're my mom now." She heartbreakingly states kissing the top of my head.

The biggest flaw in my deck of cards is the hand that held on to the joker when the odds were never in my favor.
On this ride we call life, I have suffered the wounds of many in pursuit of being felt as I feel the lyrics.
The intial start of a melody is deceiving wait for the bones inbetween. The way the words cross the skies and thus cut the heart.
I always knew to start over when the roads no longer crossed bridges, when my eyes grew heavy and weary of begging for 20's from pennies.
