POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
I do not compose the poems. They come to me on their own accord. I simply jot them down on paper.
She hides in unveiling
There she is in all her splendor,
Yet you'll never understand the battles she faces.
No, she'll never say a word.
Never.
Yet you'll never understand the battles she faces.
No, she'll never say a word.
Never.

When I go
When I go, don't burry me in the grass;
Throw me into the deep blue seas
Or dye me with the sky and mix me in air
So I can share my love with the world.
I'll be the leaves flying in the summer
Whispering words of love on a warm day,
The rain pouring down on the Earth
When the sun chooses not to stay
Because if life is music then when I go
You'll be hearing a beautiful song at night.
I may not sing well, albeit the cats will stay
Listening to my song of love, of hope, of life.

I promise you
When our hair becomes stained platinum
And our eyes lose their beautiful radiance,
The world could even cave in on itself
With a violent shake and stir the mountains
But our promise will always remain timeless
In a golden age untouched by any all.
A promise that would outshine the stars.
And light every flame at night.
I will always,
Always,
Even if all the gods forbid
And force me to forget,
love you.
And our eyes lose their beautiful radiance,
The world could even cave in on itself
With a violent shake and stir the mountains
But our promise will always remain timeless
In a golden age untouched by any all.
A promise that would outshine the stars.
And light every flame at night.
I will always,
Always,
Even if all the gods forbid
And force me to forget,
love you.

When I found you
We lost the sea
And the sky trembled
In loud tremors.
Then suddenly,
There's You.
Undeniably
You.
And the sky trembled
In loud tremors.
Then suddenly,
There's You.
Undeniably
You.

April's new song
I'll be here missing my home,
The warm smiles you all gave,
April's every new song
Living and belonging to today.
Many years ago you would say hello
Under our tree, there in the shade.
We made our vows as children,
And there in the shade we stayed.
But now we count the days
Faster than stars show at night.
Tears fall as we look back our way
At all that made our futures bright.
And there's a pain in my heart
Every time I think about how
Everyone's running ahead,
And I know I can never go...
The warm smiles you all gave,
April's every new song
Living and belonging to today.
Many years ago you would say hello
Under our tree, there in the shade.
We made our vows as children,
And there in the shade we stayed.
But now we count the days
Faster than stars show at night.
Tears fall as we look back our way
At all that made our futures bright.
And there's a pain in my heart
Every time I think about how
Everyone's running ahead,
And I know I can never go...

A letter to those who have passed
When you go, the color of the skies will remind me of your eyes
And the seasons will become the feelings you hold so dear;
I will no longer know the wind as anything else but your breath,
And the aroma of the flowers in the garden will become your scent.
Your mother remembers the laughter you had given all of us
And the tears that streamed down your cheeks
She calls out your name in the morning
She still does, and from now on, she always will.
Forgive yourself for all the mistakes you counted in life
Allow yourself to be wrong....
And the seasons will become the feelings you hold so dear;
I will no longer know the wind as anything else but your breath,
And the aroma of the flowers in the garden will become your scent.
Your mother remembers the laughter you had given all of us
And the tears that streamed down your cheeks

She still does, and from now on, she always will.
Forgive yourself for all the mistakes you counted in life
Allow yourself to be wrong....

The wounded
Let us delve into loneliness
Both licking each other's wounds
Like wolves of different packs
Exiled into each other's arms.
We can count each other's stars
That slowly fade into nothingness
Like the days that pass like wind
And leaves like memories forgone.
And perhaps finally in time
A tear would escape our eyes
As the gravity of the world
Tosses us beneath the ground
So that someday we may perhaps
Learn how to cry again.
Both licking each other's wounds
Like wolves of different packs
Exiled into each other's arms.
We can count each other's stars
That slowly fade into nothingness
Like the days that pass like wind
And leaves like memories forgone.
And perhaps finally in time
A tear would escape our eyes
As the gravity of the world
Tosses us beneath the ground
So that someday we may perhaps
Learn how to cry again.

Ends at Chapter 3
You left your bookmark in my book
A copy of Kafka on the Shore
On Chapter 3
But now you're gone.
You've left me and this world
And all these unread chapters
Whose pages, in tears, I can no longer read.

Antarctica
I could still hear the pitter-patter of rain drizzling outside. It’s cold and the lights were out. I could barely open my eyes and I was slowly sinking deeper into my bed with every wink that I made.
“Does she think about me?”
The blankets started wrapping around me even tighter. It’s as if I were alone in Antarctica and every ounce of warmth was vital. I could already imagine my voice echo across the glaciers, watching my breath form.
“What if…”
My pillows turned into a cave and I could feel the light escaping even more. I could barely trace...

When the rain sings
When the rain starts singing
The shadows come to watch
The leaves dancing in the wind,
The ships that sail
Across streams and little seas,
And visiting through the trees
Comes the whistling breeze.
All my little friends come
When the sky decides to hide
In a veil of dark and cold;
Into a world not far from mine.
The shadows come to watch
The leaves dancing in the wind,
The ships that sail
Across streams and little seas,
And visiting through the trees
Comes the whistling breeze.
All my little friends come
When the sky decides to hide
In a veil of dark and cold;

A letter to home
You told me I was your home
But I always found myself where you were,
Smiling ever so erringly at nothing
Whenever you messaged me
Saving the words as if they were letters
Sent from across a different universe.
You told me you love me
And I always looked to you for affirmation
Though I know I shouldn't have.
It's just that you were all the love
I could ever have wished for and more.
And you were always so much more.
You told me you were thankful
For the days you've spent with me ...
But I always found myself where you were,
Smiling ever so erringly at nothing
Whenever you messaged me
Saving the words as if they were letters
Sent from across a different universe.
