After The Final Moment
He looked down on me
with sympathy:
"It will only get worse
until you learn".
Ripped from the room
I saw his mother, covered in black,
our son passed into the arms
of another man
I saw my friends
with their shame, their secrets.
When my angel put her hand on mine
she looked through me like an old lover.
Memories flooded back in the white light,
through my father's dissapointment.

Poetry Is Something That Happens By Accident
the hourglass sputters
the blazar expands when
the Ajna collapses and
the fullmoon passes above
the crown
the ground gives way
the coffe cup tremors along
the faultline
there are few constants in life
personas are a nickel
for every half-dozen
dreams are becoming harder to remember
"wokefullness" is becoming a little blurrier

I began in a dream, and will end there as well"
Tommorow,
When I look upon the clouds
and imagine
I will close my eyes
and open them
to my last horrible
breaths.
My body decayed
My teeth yellowed.
That moment will stand stll,
and my whole life would've been
a glimpse of what could've been
as I fight, fight ...

in awe of a world
too big to be imagined,

A Memory On The L
I dream of the same things:
exotic lands, exotic women
a collage of everything
I've kissed
but do not touch
leviathons so big
they passed unnoticed
as we pass unnoticed
to catch a train to work
Meanwhile:
Drunk Punk Mike stands on his corner
with his white witch wife
talking about 1977
when everthing was Alive
Larribee the hippy drinks tea
in the Jewish Quarter of Tangier
with a whore who looks down
on all of us

Glitter shines like broken glass
left behind by the day
The sky is black
The air is crisp
The solitude pulsates.
I am so afraid to kiss you

The truth is....
I miss you
There is light inside you
underneath the darkness.
I will always love you for that.
What I don't miss
is everything
I chose to forgive you for
It's not that you were ever
a bad person, maybe,
your demons were too much
to overcome.
You have more of your mother
than you want to believe, I'm sure,
that is the worst thing
you could ever hear.
