Wondrous infatuation lured me
A fling flaring out as soon as it started
Temptations grip has unclenched
Now I set my sights on my true vision
An angel’s heart that I've always held
Her voice of sweet serenity comforts me

Hear me! all I need is for you to read me
Open me up and build me
Some parts are shattered pieces
Waiting to be thrown away
And somehow it doesn’t matter
That I let everyone step on me
It’s like what should I do?
When I lost what was special
Worked so hard
Just to lose what I gained
I feel so used
Downright pathetic
And all I’m waiting for
Is one more word
To let me decide my fate
So are you sorry?
Will you admit that you were wrong?
Would you even care at all?

You said life could be so perfect
when we were animals
Like children in the sand, we didn’t know what we had
and life was not as miserable
So tell me how to look you in the eyes, knowing you’ve been consumed by this lie
Don’t tell me I’m living in the past
You secretly want to be there too
Sometimes it’s hard telling you the truth
because you don’t listen to a god damn thing I say
What’s the point in fighting anyway?

So go fuck yourself my friend

My happy smile
Your loving touch
My soft kiss
Your lost glare
My heart stops…
I cherish every day with you

Incessant and never vindictive

If she bails I’ll send that Cheshire Cat
To seek her out and send her back
Into my maddening grasp!
Oh honey apologies of my time
Lost did I get on my way but with you I'll spend my day

Lost in the Stars*
I spent so many nights
Looking up at the stars
Thinking there must be someone out there for me
Been torn from the pain of everyone talking
Throwing me aside as an outcast
Why do I feel like I’m so different?
Heartbroken every time I speak
I don’t want to be alone again
I can’t stand the hurt, I’m about to give in
Till I see the light shine in the dark
A text of sincerity
Telling me all I need to hear
A person that makes me feel wanted
No one in my life has ever done this to me
