she looks into my eyes
and draws in gracefully
I order us another drink
the bar sounds begin to drown out
smirking at her flirtatious ways
as I run my fingers down her shoulder
she bites down on her lip
seemingly eager to get out of here
she even pays for the night
I ask "my place or yours?"
-"my roommate is gone"
her place it is
as we walk in
she complements my cologne
even though it's a cheap off brand
she slams the door
-"now I got you!"
her whole demeanor changes ...

so hot and heavy

till that day like all the others

we were in our prime
I just turned 28 she was 25
spent our days jogging in the park
working high end jobs
and exchanging small talk
I thought to myself
"why can't it be this way forever?"
a gypsy approached me the next day
she couldn't have been much pass 21
said "what you seek is in the potion"
then she handed me a bottle
soon after she disappeared
once at home
something told me to drink it
I gave some to my girlfriend
pouring it in her alcoholic beverage

my girlfriend says I’m hallucinating
it’s not what it seems
but I swear there’s beast out to get me
they wander in the night
with sharp teeth and claws
looking for their next victims
I saw one last week
devouring a young girl
who’d had her cloths torn
the monster chased me, but I got away
every night since
I been hearing noises outside my bed
I decided that I can’t live in fear
ready with my revolver
I went outside and faced them
towering around me
were half human half wolf creatures
growling...
