Step Inside
Would you like to come in for a minute?
There are some things I’d like to show you, and perhaps steal a chance to get to know you. My door is always open, but you already knew that.
I have waited for a long time to see your home. Through the windows and the garden I’ve gathered what I could, yet I’d like to see the view from the places that you stood.
I could break in, you know I could. However, I would never betray a trust so pure and good. It’s about the respect I have for you and I, so I’m almost satisfied to just wait and see.

Fireball Oasis
Eager with a fever
Hidden in plain sight
Seeking a real believer
Standing behind the light
Oceans enveloping
Roaring and churning
Calm as a deathbed
Drawing my yearning
Touch my skin
You want to taste this
What is underneath
This fireball oasis
Purple and overlapping
Blue mountains loom
Casting great shadows
Chasing our doom
Eyes like embers
Cold as ice
Face still hidden
Roll the dice

Motion
Shifting sands caressing winds rolling waves holding hands
Spectating accumulation of all nature’s crafty plans
Sea breezes spraying geysers misting observable water praying
Listening carefully hark what the carefree mother ocean is saying
Cauldrons of motion
An ever breaking salty potion
Gulls and swifts bring lofty commotion
Horizons fall and rise on tides of devotion
Bright star glares poking lens flairs
Scorching heat sand burning rough feet
Pungent sea growth but sweet breeze
Enough stimulation for bowed heads and...

Cheeky
Such cheeky eyes, secret smiles, heart walking miles
I recognize the sly glide of someone looking through the smoke at the world like you’re the only one in on a private joke
I see reflections in you that I wish I saw when you were gone
It’s been so long
Mostly gratitude but with more than a hint of attitude
You are just like me, mostly without shoes
Little views making big impacts, in fact leaving broken things intact
Planting little gardens wherever you roam
There’s so much more I want to know
So very much more for us to grow

Each night when I lay down
The devil comes to me
Promising in return for my soul
That he will set me free
He steals the bits and pieces
I take off my shoulders when I rest
Changing my thoughts from good to bad
Until I’m drowning in distress

Snows fiery aftermath

They say there's power in words
They say the truth will set you free
But how do I sleep when my whole family lied to me?
How do I mend the things I never knew were broken?
When my mother went she left the front door wide open
How do I begin to say that I found myself in pieces
The feeling of being lost grips me as quickly as it releases
It breaks my heart to understand I'll never know my mother
There are things only a son can hear from a mom and not another

What Tomorrow Brings
I could never explain the fires your touch sparks
Or how you pull on my heart like a magnet, attracting opposites
You say you're burned out
I can taste the ash behind your tongue
I remember the sharp crack when you broke the mirror
And the sobs that escaped you when you thought nobody could hear
I see the hole in your chest
Where the tears of your heart have torn
I'll keep trying to make you believe
Believe that you aren't done
From your husk you shall emerge
Stronger and vital and with a belly of flames
Stand with me in the rain ...

Dear Fox, I may need your advice
The thoughts in my head don't seem so nice
My heart has gone out to another
She's gone and I'm not sure I will recover
Bear my friend, you should be glad
And grateful for the love you had!
But to give yourself to something new
Is surely something you must do
A story of a bear almost like you
I shall now retell you true
Of love, this bear nothing knew

Bear my friend, how do you do?
Oh Fox said Bear, I'm feeling blue
Life is tough and there's lots to do
But I wouldn't want to trouble you
Now now Bear, I shan't let this slide!
You may of course in me confide
What troubles you, what's going on?
One thing's for sure, we must stay strong

How emptiness fills me with pain
Normality changes, nothing's the same
