Falling closer (when I'm gone)
I never really knew where you found the strength
To pull me up with you when I tripped on my life
But you were always there like flicker in the dark
In my empty world that I still try to understand
Darkness never bothered me until I noticed your light
How can I deserve you when I easily fall apart
How can you still love the broken side of me
When all I ever did was make your heart bleed
Falling closer I noticed my faults
And how perfect you made me feel
Thought I lost it all before
But something shines still

Heart of gold
They say she's got a heart of gold
Never mind how much it weights her down
People think it's one part they can't afford
Leaving her with the painful golden crown
She cares not for riches cause they're cursed
She cares not for gold digging waves of friends
Happiness won't come to those who wait
So she will break the golden gates
And stay awake
They say she's the luckiest of them all
Never mind how much of it was bought with work
People think so many things untrue
Forgetting everyone's paying their due
Still...

You're possessing me while feeding your demons
I'm breaking inside , reaching the abyss
Clinging to you , drinking your kiss
While dangers keep circling around me like seasons
Wish I could scream for help and salvation
But I'm already beyond a need to be sane
You keep me entrapped , protected and frail
While studying my descent into ruination
I'm your sacrifice , the only one worthy
The only one that can truly understand
Because to know you is to know myself
Because to love you is to lose all else
To hell I will...

Our souls
Are we losing ourselves in the winds of life
Are we running away from what we become
Is it hard , is it not, it's hard to decide
When you're asking for more while falling apart
And the wind never stops till you're high above ground
And it tears you apart with memories of death
Something deep inside is starting to cry
As you start to fall and take one last breath
The crash is shattering remains of your soul
The sprinkles are scattered among blooming world
And no one did witness beauty of your fall
And no one picks up the pieces...
Are we running away from what we become
Is it hard , is it not, it's hard to decide
When you're asking for more while falling apart
And the wind never stops till you're high above ground
And it tears you apart with memories of death
Something deep inside is starting to cry
As you start to fall and take one last breath

I stepped into the fire
And came out alive
They cut off my legs
So I learned how to fly
Rocks thrown at me
I used to build a home
A heart they ripped out
I replaced with a stone
Lonely wolf heals
Only when it's alone
Scars still are left
They will never be gone
They gave me my shape
And really, it's fine
Cause I wouldn't be me
Just stranger with a smile
But if I'm gonna change
It will be for me
Not for those others
That don't hope for dreams

Follow alive
Storms come down to break and tear
To take away lives and dreams
How blind we are
How small we are
Facing ourselves with our fears
Turning to anger and bursting in flames
To neglect our freedom and fall apart

How poor we are
Not seeing the riches of our heart

The rain is falling like pages torn
From diary of life written for years
And now here you stand , hard like a stone
And no one will see the pain in your face
No one remembers the name or age
The style of your pen you used to give
Or so you will think hidden in cage
Not willing to stay , nor to forgive
But can you see hands reaching from sky
They will pull you up if you will it so

When bonds break
It wasn't a battle I wanted to fight
It wasn't a friendship I wanted to lose
But no one would listen , no one would choose
To take a chance and set things to right
Strong words were said , denial was given
No chance to repent or to hold back
We left the bond bewteen us to crack
No pain forgotten nor sins forgiven
And now we are here , broken and cold
Ready to give up, tired and jaded
Fight of our souls has nothing but faded
Still anger remains not ready to fold
Betrayal - some say
Justice - think...

Strong words for weakling like you

Deceiver smiles at mortal pain
Laughs when no more hope remains
Dances as our legs break down
Waiting for his golden crown
Quietly walking through the storm

By the window in my home
Home that's not a home at all
Looking down the busy street
As strangers pass, as friends meet
From that window I can see
All the life and all the sins
So much pain and so much greed
Hatred is a growing seed
The screams inside, the cold beyond
There is no freedom from it all

I know I'll never find my home
