On the edge of betrayal
Life, truly so frail
Setting sail
To new shores, may we not fail
Standing upon the precipice
Death truly must be bliss
Away from all pain
Somewhere, to remain sane
Escaping to vast open fields
What life truly yields
Eternity
Of uncertainty
But as I decay
My last thoughts fray
A smile glowing up
From past embers, abrupt
My life fades away
Life, truly so frail

This woeful sorrow
Soul longing for tomorrow
Trying to find a way
Just to get through today!!
Path laid out in front of me!!

Lack of rhyme
Not to waste time
Trying to converse
But I'll use this verse
With no one to whom I could speak
If I did you'd know I were a freak
