I was only hiding
This is a silence night,
Not humid-nor sordid,
Between Balboa Park and infinity,
Linking here in vapors whispering.
Waiting, one might turn to unknown arts,
fleeting away inside risqué phantasms,
whirling circle, spinning rainbow, gaping wonderful,
Waiting for one’s dream to initiation flight, this eve, this lonely eve.
Would the dance begin without me?
Is the me a whole,
Is the whole waiting for me?
Can one cross here?
Don’t fetter my dear,
Don’t tether in mid-air cry
See through this momentary lapse, as...

Open minded Donkey
Tomorrow it will be back,
It will glare again like the night before,
It will cause us to rethink this realization,
It will never stop, until we learn to forget memories
We will drive through the passes once more,
And look for the same landmarks,
we will wind our way back to the roots of sin and pleasure,
We will toast our accomplishments with tea,
Falling over the edge of the clouds, there will be hesitations.
This sojourn, you will
find your thicket and slowly unleash your wisdom,

Eyeing the large rocks on the...

Its only about time
Chains
Fear
Manacled to the iron
A heavy rain is coming
Out there
It’s not as friendly
Inside is too confronting
These chains
Why do we do this
When winter is coming
Should know better
But I lean into you again
Sleeping beauty
I tremble while kissing your skin
This darkness lifts, if only to return
In reserve
Long moments starting out this window
Into the yard of people, peopling-
This ache strains my tendons
These self-imposed chains bind me
Fear is a drug
Pain is a cure ...

There was nothing, then there was everything
Sometimes I feel my reflection is laughing at what I once saw. So many changes, mistakes, moments of bliss, moment of utter fear/ of what next comes after a giant fall.
After events that break you, there is silence that vibrates like an antique wind. I stand there numb, while the breakdown shatters my illusions.
Somehow I’ve become less like what I was going after in the beginning.
Everything around me feels like scenes from a movie, like I am always a spectator , luckily in color.
I am not the smartest guy around, but far from the dimmest. People I meet and greet in my...

Fully engaged
I was only a ghost
breezing my way through
the endless levees
wading into the scorching seas
like hot molten
dribbling over my naked body
running away from me
will do you no good
once I am inside of you
you can only sit on the levee and moan
I may take advantage of your curves
moving my hands slowly all over your
precious body-
going down
flashes of lily of the fields
touching you soulfully
wanting you madly
give into this
I will promise you
many rewards...
